Do you know how expensive they are??? I want them for my bo-ks and I got a quote from a florists today which was $3500. I want tulips for the centerpieces which are inexpensive (happy about that!), and the calla lilies are really expensive. $150 a bo-k (I have 8 BMs). Who else is having calla lilies and got a reasnable quote from a florist...or are they all going to charge me this much?

Calla lillies are one of the most expensive flowers for weddings b/c they are so durable and last long..

I know, she was telling me, which I think is great and I still want them for my boks but wanted to know if anyone got a cheaper quote for calla boks of 30.

Maybe you can try to email some of the LIW vendors and ask their prices for a bok with them in it.. and if its lower then your florists quote they might be able to match it? hth

I love calla lillies.. I intend on using them in all the bo-k's as well as my centerpieces.. I wanted them for as long as I can remember and don't care how much they cost!!

Callas are durable? That is good to know because my aunt is telling me they do not last long. I wanted to use them also, but I was told my aunt had them and they wilted quickly. That was over 20 years ago but still I got worried. But maybe if I can get a good price I will consider them again. I didn't know they were so expensive!

My whole wedding is ALL Calla's, and we spent just under 2k. Flowers are one of the things we didn't cheap out on, and to me their soooo worth it. We're using John from Flower Michele. I suggest you meet with him, and he'll work with ya. Good Luck. Calla's are very expensive, but totally worth it!!!!

I want all Calla Lillies too!! All I keep hearing about it john from Flower Michelle. i already got in touch with him.. so far my date is open for him... I have to go meet with him soon!!! I will let you know what he quotes me!! But yes they are very expensive! I can't pay more then like 2000.00 for all flowers.. so I will see what he can do!

I'm very stubborn....I want all callas... ....If I have to pay a lot then I will...I really want them!!! But I will def get other quotes

Yeah let me know!!! Thanks!!! The florists I used charged $150 for the BMs of 30 callas...let me know what he charges

I am shocked that you got SUCH a good price with Flower Michele. It is my understanding that they are pretty pricey.. I have an appointment with Pedestals sometime in March and bc I made an appointment with them when I went to the bridal show at Jericho Terrace they will either take $150 off the bill or a free bridal bo-k.. PLUS bc they are the house florest at Westbury Manor, I get $10 off each centerpiece on the tables.. So it wasn't a bad decision for me.

I actually heard that there's a florist in Westchester that does Centerpieces for 125 each. That includes 12 long stem Calla Lillies in each vase with some fillers and I believe rose petals for the tables. If you want the number just email me, I have all the info at home. I know that their is Westchester floral, if you want to try and look them up

We are doing white roses and calla lillies. We are have the bo-k's and stuff made for us from a florist in Vermont (don't know who yet) but are going to be doing the CPs our self, which will be just callas. We are going to find a discount flower market (I hear there is one at chelse piers) and but 1 dozen calla for each CP and a tall square vase. Plain and simple yet elegant. (the flostist that we normally go to for flowers charges $6 per calla hopefully we can find it for cheaper)

Calla Lillies are expensive. I booked with Flower Michelle last week and I only did Calla Lillies for my bo-k.
By the way my experience with Flower Michelle was great!! I am so happy I booked with them.

My suggestion is to just keep shopping around. That's what I'm doing. I am hooked on peonies and they're super expensive. But I have a budget and I'm not giving up until I get what I want! Have you tried Signature? They gave me a good price, although it was still over my budget. But they were still cheaper than some of the other quotes I got.
