Called my Bridal Salon

Called my Bridal Salon

To find out when I need to order my dress. They told me if I order this month it will be in in May, if I order next it's in in June, etc. My preference is to wait as long as possible just so I can lose a few more pounds, but am I crazy for waiting until March to order it? It would be here in August, which is 2 months before my wedding.

I don't think so...

If they can order it in March, do it then. OR, if they give you a super hard time, make them order a size smaller than you are now.

I'm thinking it is okay, I just don't want it to be late

JMO, but I wouldn't wait until March. That doesn't give you much of a cushion if you need extra alterations of if the designer falls behind.

I would do it in February. Gives you a little extra time, but also gives them some extra time to get it in.

I'm not worried so much about the alterations since my aunt is doing them. I'm just nervous about the designer falling behind as you mentioned.

2 months should give you enough time....

How much weight do you plan to drop? I mean if its 5-10lbs it really doesn't make too much of a diff.

I'm more focused on the inches than the weight.
