being that it took me so long to order my invitations I can't find anyone that is not busy. I was going to use Artistic Addressing but I found out that my envelopes are too thick for their printer. I can't find anyone that would do it by hand. I contacted calligraphy lady and a few others and no one can do it. I am willing to pay up to 3.00 per set. Can anyone recommend someone that can do it ASAP. I need to mail them out by the 20th.
Thanks
Lenie

Re: Calligraphy
Wow I would say use your own printer, but if they are too thick for someone elses compter I unfortunatly can't really give you any ideas except self print lables. But I assume that since you are looking into a calligrapher you would rather not do something like that.

Re: Calligraphy
Good luck... at this point, I'd get some clear labels, pick a nice font and print the addresses on the labels. This time of year is super busy for everyone.

Andywits (theknot.com) recommends I just got my envelopes back and they look amazing! My calligrapher did my 130 envelopes in literally one day and I couldn't be happier. Her name is Janice and her number is (718) 740-1399. She lives in Queens on the border of Nassau so I chose to fedex everything form the city (I was a sport since she charges so little to begn with!). For hand calligraphy she charges $1.50 per envelope and $2 for inner/outer set. I almost fainted when found her b/c I know people paying $4-5 per set elsewhere for the same work! Tell her Andrea sent you

Re: Calligraphy
you might ask anne, it depends on the font you chose as to what the price will be-the more complicated the more expensive-but if you just want them to look nice and neat pick a simple print and save a little money. she lives in the city so you may have to bring them to her, and i'm not sure at this point if she would charge a rush fee-i would expect one-but she does great work! tell her christian sent you! i love her work!Anne Robin

Re: Calligraphy
did you try inkspun? I was going to use artistic adressing as well, but they took so much time (over a week and a half) to create a sample invite, and couldn't get my font either. I just picked up my envelopes from Bill at Inkspun this weekend, and everything was perfect - he found my font and printed them in under 2 days.
