Calligraphy -- My FAVORITE VENDOR!! Attn: Newly Engaged

I just got back my invites and they are amazing!! I used calligraphylady.com and Dayna was awesome...I cannot rave about her work enough... She books up really fast - which is why I wanted to make sure to pass on the word to the 2003 brides.

It was just $1.50 for inner & outer envelope with hand calligraphy. I was a little worried because her prices were so cheap -- but I have literally never seen such awesome work! (And I've been invited to a lot of weddings) I am enclosing a picture so you can see (Dayna sent it to me as a 'preview'). I chose 'Romantic Script' - but she has tons of other styles to choose from.

The one thing that I was a little worried about was shipping my invites -- but that was such not a big deal. All you do is call Fed Ex and they'll pick up your box from your door (and bring you mailing slips and everything too). Honestly I think that was less of a pain then packing up a box and taking a car ride out to someone on Long Island.

I got her name from the boards -- so I'm happy to get the chance to refer someone else. If you're interested in using her, just go to her website & send her an email to reserve your time slot --> you don't have to pay anything until you ship your invites.

Oh and by the way -- I found a bunch of typos on my list -- and Dayna was totally sweet about making the changes. Plus I ended up adding people to my list after she had sent me my invites -- and she was happy to accomidate me --> she's going to ship them seperate (she holds on to a few extra envelopes just in case something like that happens). Although I hope none of you would have these problems -- it just goes to show what a 'service-oriented' person she is. Seriously - although I've only 'spoken' with her via email -- Dayna is a sweetheart!

Oh wow! She really did an awesome job. I am nowhere near getting my invitations ( My wedding is August 22, 2003) but i will definitley put her on my 'to do' list. Thanks for the pics...

Maybe it is because they get to make our invites look so pretty. I think your envelopes came out great. I am sure your friends and family will love getting them in the mail.
