Calligraphy/envelope question

Calligraphy/envelope question

Stupid question, but do you have to get the calligraphy on an envelope done BEFORE or AFTER you stuff the envelopes? I'd REALLY like to stuff my invites this week while we have the week off from school, but not if the invites have to be addressed first.

before you stuff it. Remember that with a bunch of things in the envelope it can make certain parts not even and bumpy and hard to write on.

What if I put the flat part of the invite against the front of the envelope and put the smaller things along the flap side of the envelope? We don't have rhinestones or buckles or any fancy bells and whistles on our invites.

you can call and ask to double check. I will say this though, depending what marker they use does need time to dry. I remember she had to lay out all my cardstock for it to dry so would worry about it running through. Not sure bc i did mine differently. I didnt have envelopes, i put the invites in a box and i put cardstock on top of the box with addresses so i just sent over the cardstock.

I would email or call the person you want to use and see what they suggest.

Oh i thought you had the person already. I would contact some soon and see what they suggest. Maybe other ladies on here will say they did it that way. I would just be afraid with anything running through and getting on the invite itself. If its thin then it can go through and you might get black marker on the invite.
