I thought I was planning too far iin advance, but it doesnt seem like I am the only one with that idea!!! Jenny here (26)....I've been with my FI Al (31)for about 7 years now, we got engaged on 9/1/04 at The Top of the World Restaurant in Las Vegas. We've just signed a contract with Crescent Beach Club for our 05/06/07 wedding!
I havent looked any anything else now, the reception hall was enough (not to mention that's alot of $$ in and of itself!!)
But for fun I tried on a $2,500 wedding dress and LOVED IT!!!!! Swarvoski crystals....duchess silk satin..and a whole other fancy words that describe the dress (too bad that's WAYYYYY over my budget! )

I'm Mandy(23) and my FH is Larry (24). We will be together for 5 years this Sept. We got engaged mid May and we already booked our hall. We booked East Wind for June 1, 2007. I haven't started looking or planning anything else, I figure we have 2 years, I want to spread it all out. Although we are going to the showcase at East Wind tonight, so we'll see what happens. Our e-party will be in Sept. sometime. Are you girls registering for your e-parties? I'm not sure if we should. Let me know.

I already had my e-party and didn't register. Its two years away and I didn't have a place to store it all, and I probably would have changed my mind like a 100 times for what I picked out...

We didnt have an e-party, we had family and friends come over for lunch, that was it. We actually had a really good time, b/c there was no expectations

You are totally right! People I know have registered for their e-parties, and are telling us to register, but I wasn't sure because we have 2 years....and like you said, no room to store things. Plus, how will we know we will like it 2 years from now, I'm thinking newer models could come out too, that we may want. So We aren't going to register. Thanks for all the advice!

It's nice to see a few more, I thought I was one of few out there. My name is Theresa and my FH is Don. We're high school sweethearts who have been going out nine years. We got engaged May 14 and I'm very excited, as this has been a long time coming. I'm new to this website and forums, so any help would be great.
Our wedding date is Sept 29, 2007 and our family engagement party is july 10 and the friends one is august 6.

I am Renee my FH (Dwayne) and I have been together for 5 yrs, we just got engaged on my 25th b-day last month... We plan on getting married on 7/7/07, those are our lucky numbers...
So far we picked our place... we still need to book it though... And we picked our invitations... but who knows anything can change...
