Considering I have soo much done... The only real thing that I'm putting pressure on myself to do is find my hair & makeup people.
Everything else for the most part is done!
So this is the glory I get to feel for being neurotic!!! Thanks very much.... I'll take it over feeling the pressure............

I think that I may be taking the easy route & going to Maximus for my hair. I went there for my hair for a girlfriends wedding and my hair came out fabulously & stayed in all night long. Going to have to do some serious work on it though.
P.S. I just had to share.... Who would've thought that when I started this thread that it was going to go to such lengths?!!! I'm so glad to have all the brides of LI Weddings to help me out.

Rachel and Felicia- it was great meeting you tonight. Half-joking, we talked about having a special meeting for just the sept girls. There are so many of us and we are all in the same planning stages. We had so much fun tonight and we just have to get our own board soon. Oh and rumor has it that they are going to split the 04 thread up so we might be next to get our own board on top.

Yeah it really was a good time. It was great to meet you Rachel and Marisa. The next GTG will be great b/c all of us will hopefully get to meet. It was nice to put faces with the screen names. It was hilarious everytime someone walked in and introduced themsleves with their name, no one knew who they were until they said their screen name.

Hi ladies, is there room for one more Sept. bride? (9/27/03) I'm not from LI, but from Queens. I'll be moving to FI's house in the Bronx next month after I sell my co-op but it's nice to see where all the Sept brides are in the planning stage. I've got the church, reception hall, limos, photog, dj, and I ordered my dress this week. Right after the first of the year I'll get going with the bridesmaids. I haven't decided what to do with them. I'm an 'older' first-time bride (I'll be 45 when I get married!) so most of my maids are in their 40s also, working and raising families, and I just can't imagine getting them altogether and dragging them to a bridal salon. I may just pick a color and tell them to buy their own dress.

Welcome Roxalita! I'm a somewhat 'older' bride too - I'll be 32 when we get married. Congratulations on your engagement!
A lot of us don't live on LI - I live in Queens but am getting married on LI. It's nice to meet you!

Welcome roxalita. I am also getting married on the 27th. It will be here before we know it. Welcome aboard and watch out its addiciting.
