I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

Does anyone have Dessy After Six Dresses? I am deciding between Dessy/ After Six and Jim Hjelm!!! My BM are deadlocked!!! Thought I would throw it out on here....

First, Welcome roxalita to the wonderful,mostly sunny,perfectly planned and expedited month of September 2003!!

Also, I really want to go to the GTG in Deer Park. Is any one bringing FH or are they allowed? What is the date? I have precana 1/25.

Septyay - Haven't picked BM dresses yet so I can't be of help there.

vickalina - the GTG is on the 10th. I'm not bringing my Fh but not sure if others are or not.

I know, Lisa-

Curly is totally flaking- not living up to her standards of a TRUE Sept bride.... We might have to throw her butt off the thread!!! We might have to suspend her if she keeps standing us up... Maybe she should be a December bride or join up with the May thread. LOL!!! Just kidding, Curly. We love you and wouldn't be a true thread without you!!!!

I have to tell you all a funny story. I was at the nail salon today - 5 star nails in freeport, and i was talking with this girl.... turns out she is getting married in the sands in march or may (one of the m's)... and the whole time i was thinking about this site.... what an addiction!!! i was wondering... have i spoken to this girl b4.... have i commented something that she's said.... vice versa..... of course stupid me doesn't think to actually open my mouth and say... hey... do you post on liweddings.com????? lolololol

That is so funny. Sometimes I look to see who is posting and go to profile just to see if the person behind the post is someone I know- if a story sunds familiar to me or something! I feel like the world is on this site- can't believe it is sucha small percentage of brides. also, I feel like LI WEDDINGS is the best kept secret around! I am very possessive of the vendors I found on this board.

you have been in the hospital???!! I hope that is work related!!! There is a get together with all LI wedding brides on 1/10 and I think a smaller one on 12/29 if I am not mistaken. A lot of us are planning to go to the 1/10 one. Hope you can make it. It is in Deer Park and there are some threads on it. You do have to rsvp with LI weddings and they make that possible through the thread that they put out. It should be on the first three pages of bhb.

Hey guys-well yes I am a nurse but I was in the hospital as a patient. I was at work Tuesday night and around 1am I started feeling really light headed, sweaty, nauseas and was vomiting like a hundred times and had really bad back pain. So I went to the ER (how convenient) and they ended up admitting me for a really bad kidney infection. I was on IV antibiotics and wasn't allowed to eat for 4 days BUt i'm feeling better now, just stressed because I saved all my shoping till the last minute and have barely anything done!!! But I know my family will understand. FH said his best gift is just to have me home & better
Anyway-I will definately come to the 1/10 GTG---I am soooo looking foward to meeting everyone! Especially all my Sep buddies

Happy to hear that you are feeling better, Dani. Sorry to hear about the last couple of days for you... I had surgery two years ago and was in the hospital for a week. I just hated it- the only thing that gave me any solice was that I was on the delivery floor so I got to see all the incubators and new babies. It was wonderful!!!

As we are coming into the New Year, want to revise what I have done and booked so far:

Reception Place
Photo
Video
Band
Gown
Bridesmaids Dresses
Florist
Hotel Blocked Off

Currently working on Hair and Make-up, Cake and Invites! By the end of March, I would like to have all this accomplished!
