SO funny.... so my sister and I did our last minute Christmas shopping today!!! Spent so much money on presents at the mall and it was a ZOO. On the way out after dropping all this cash, I got a phone call and found out that I didn't get this job that I really wanted so that was kind of a bummer... I felt like I should be in one of those Christmas movies with a cheesy moral at the end about how Christmas is not about presents....
And to boot, as my FI was walking out of his office on Friday at 5pm to go on a ski trip with me- his bosses stop him and tell him he needs to work all weekend and all this and next week!!! Mind you, I am home packed waiting for him to pick me up... They told the poor guy that he could only work 10 hours a day though, so that was big of them!!!! He should be in a Scrooge movie or something. Nobody is made to work over Christmas!

That stinks. So sorry you have had this string of bad luck these past few days. He actually has to work on Christmas Day? That is horrible. As hard as it is, try to stay positive and better things will come along!!!

Thanks Felicia. I actually feel better now- At least I am DONE with all my shopping, wrapped all my gifts, and my one of my best friends is coming into town today so that should be a lot of fun!!! She lives in New Orleans so this totally is a treat! I am looking forward to tomorrow night at her house, another party right after that, and then, spending Christmas day with my FIL's (and yay!) my FI. Think he might get the day off!!! This is going to be a great holiday!!!

I am really excited as we are approaching 8 months until the weddings. That is really not that much time at all!!!! Wow- enjoy this Christmas girls. Have a few drinks and I hope Santa brings you all something nice, although It sounds like we all got our much wanted gifts this year a little early!

Glad to hear it was a good one for you! Christmas was so fun!!! Off from work this week so that should be cool.... Tomorrow is the bridesmaids dress day, so by Friday afternoon, it should be picked out!!! Yay! One more thing off my plate! 2003 yay! For some reason this year, I don't think it is going to be so hard to write 1/1/03 on papers and stuff when signing the date. I pretty much do that already. I think I'll have no trouble remembering that it is 2003.

So funny that you said that...I always have been writing 03 on everything the past few months too! I thought I would be gone for a few days...I am actually at my FIL's in Atlanta- but couldn't bear the temptation of checking the boards while I was here!

Hey everyone-well now that Christmas is over I can continue w/ the wedding planning. I am going BM dress shopping next week-I have a few in mind that I like. I also have photo, limos and flowers left to do---and reasonably priced suggestions??

Yeah, whre is everyone else. I think it;s b/c we are at an awkward planning stage. Most of us have the major things done. I think this thread will start burning up once the 6-4 months left rolls around. We'll be asking each other all about the little details!!!!!!!
Danirn- Flowers I am using A Flord Affair, they are a vendor on this site and are VERY reasonable. For limos I am thinking of using Royalty. they have given me the best price thus far. And for photo I am using Cassarino. They are not the most reasonable priced but i rhink yiu get alot for your money w/ many extras and quality pics. Good luck!!
