Here's an update for my fellow September brides...called one of the hotels I wanted to block in the Hamptons this past Monday and the woman finally called me back today. I am the THIRD bride in line for rooms. What the F#@*??? How early do all the neurotics brides do everyhting? - Imean the wedding is in more than NINE months! Oh well - hopefully we'll figure something out. Not too many choices in Westhampton. Another headache that makes me want to elope. Anyone else feeling this way lately?

Hi everyone Fletch congrats on booking Wild Rose-isn't there work amazing? I can't wait to see my video!
We are getting pre-cana organized finally. We are probably going to go through the Diocese weekend program since we both work nights and have hard schedules to work with. We are meeting with the photographer tommorow night. We are going to Laurie Studios in St.James. She is actually my friends sis-in-law so hopefully she will cut me a deal She did 2 of my friends albums and they were beautiful. I'll write tommorw night on how it went.
Looking foward to meeting everyone next week at the GTG!

Jennyg- I understand your frustration but I don't think I've ever felt like eloping. Just take a breather and think how you'll feel with whatever deciosion you've made in 20 years when you are looking back......good luck!!!!!!!!

We met with Doug from Patken last night and I really liked them. We have an appt with Paul Marino next week and then hopefully I can make a decision on the photographer. I feel like this has to be booked asap.

I missed so much last night.
Jennyg – if the hotels are booked – would you consider a big house for your guests? Since the summer season is over you may be able to rent one of those houses for the weekend. Some of these houses have enough rooms to house a few people. Just a thought.
Dani – I didn’t know you booked with Wild Rose too? Aren’t they great?
Sept2703 – we met with paul marino too. You will love him – he is very nice and fun. We didn’t go with him b/c all of his stuff is digital and I wanted actual film.
Curly – did you talk with Ultimate about limos? I actually have to put a call into them for information.

I think it would be so beneficial to have our own board!!! We could create threads for Flowers, Invitations etc, etc, and it would help us better rather than reading thru a gazillion pages if you missed a day. We'll get there......just don't know if it'll be before Sept, hahahahahaha

Lisa- Has the Dr. told you you are getting an ulcer or do you think you are getting an ulcer. my dad just had one removed and it was NOT easy. Hope it's not the case w/ you and hope you feel better!!!!!!!
