I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

hi guys, just wanted to update you real quick that i'm meeting with photographers this weekend! hopefully we'll like one of them! and i got most of my guest list together. so progress is slow but i'll catch up.
also i think we should have our own board too :)

Congrats on your addicted status Marisa-YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I'm jealous, I've been a memeber a month longer and i'm only halfway there Yes, I agree we need our own thread! Maybe they can combine chat rules and live chat so we can fit in...How many of us are going to the GTG-we need to somehow all find each other for a September group photo-I have to remember my camera.
Can you believe at work they have the summer vacation sign-up sheet up, I already filled out my spot for the week before and a few weeks after the wedding! It will be here before we know it!!!

Since I am the last weekend in Sept I am depending on you girls to give me advice!!! Hopefully, there will be some reviews posted before I leave for my honeymoon.
We should make plans to meet in October to share our proofs and honeymoon pics.
Can't wait until Friday. We will def have to figure out a way to meet. I think something like 114 have confirmed. Wow!

I really can't wait to meet all of you- I am super excited!!!! My FI wants to come to the GTG! He's whining- 'What am I going to do on Friday? They planned this on a big date night? and made it solo?' He was so funny! He's such a baby---- I'm like 'go out with your friends... Get drunk...Have a party... What were you doing before you met me?' He's like 'I don't remember'....
TJ thinks this board is satanic. He thinks I get crazy ideas off this board- the last one I pitched to him was the idea of abstaining before the wedding a little. That didn't go over too well.
Also, this was so funny... The other day my sister was complaining about not being able to find the right guy living in the city and I told her in front of TJ- 'Look at what I found...A great guy from Rockville Center'.... My FI was like 'I'm from Rockland County, Marisa'. I started laughing and my sister was like how did you come up with Rockville Center..... I was dying on the floor laughing and said 'One of the Make-up Artists I had seen on LI Weddings lived there!!!!' Needless to say, he was not very amused and now wants to put parental locks on his computer blocking this site!!!! LOL!!!!!

Just to update everyone.... Tonight I am going to Creative Compositions Photographers to look at Ernie- I think we are going to go with them!!! Yay!
Concerning make-up, I loved Denise, this great make- up artist that Lisa is using--- but I had booked an appointment already with this other woman for Saturday so I am just going to go to one more trial to make sure... Then it is on to hair!!!
Bridesmaid dresses are coming along and hopefully will be ordered by the end of the week. I'm going to assign the task to my MOH. Here is what we have decided so far: black two piece satin dresses with either Garnet Red or Purple wraps... Unsure at this point. Closed toe black heels for the girls. I really don't want the girls in all different dresses..... So I think we are going to do the same dress...
FMIL is on me for the swatch so she could select her dress...

I have 3 videographer appts on Saturday (the day after the GTG). We are seeing Wild Rose, Candlelite and Platinum so far. I may try and schedule a trial with JN after that....

I met with Platinum... Tell you the truth, I really didn't think Pete was that wonderful to me... I felt the meeting was really rushed and wasn't particularly blown away by his work.... Candelite I am sure is great but I have to say Wild Rose really made me happy- Very romantic videos. Great attention to detail, new state of the art equiptment with low lighting, and lastly, Bill is sort of an artist.... What he was showing me was artwork- great judgement in his shots.... I have a little more of a budget to spend on Videography and didn't need to-I see like 7 vendors for one decision--- miles above the competition!

Happy tuesday everyone! Thrilled-you will be 'thrilled' with Wild Rose. They do amazing work. I was crying just watching their demo tapes. We didn't even go see anyone else after them.
Marisa-Rob sounds just like TJ. He is like 'what am I going to so Friday night'? I finally convinced him to play poker w/ some of his buddies. He also wants to put a lock on this site!!! I'd die!
Well if we book Patken this week then my last 2 big things are flowers and limos. I am pretty set on which bm dress I want-i'll attach a pic-you may have seen it in another post I had but here it is again:
