Thanks to you guys for making me feel a little better! I am feeling a little bad about myself today for throwing away money on a photographer.... but Creative Compositions will do a great job! I'm thinking about where I can save money.... Obviously in the flowers but maybe also in the invites... We are not doing save the dates, either...

Marissa - You have to go with what will make you happy. It stinks to lose money but it will be worse to have a photographer that you don't think will do the best job!! You will make the right decision.

I am pretty scared about this! The change is going to cost us all out (including the loss on deposit) 2,000 more..... Should I do it?

I just got off the phone with the head wedding coordinator there and asked her to make about 30 changes to the contract- she sounded sort of exasperated and sighed a bit when I got off with her... I hope that they like me because if they don't maybe the pics won't be so good.... I feel like I was a little harsh or businesslike with the changes... I don't know... Maybe I have too much time on my hands....

Everyone makes their own personal decisions but if a change would make me end up loosing $2000.00!!!!!! I would NOT do it.

Oh my G-d no!!!! The deposit on the other person was 500 but their services are something like 1500 more for the same thing... They are like Jovon- same pricing category! The only thing that is making me feel better is that we had alloted a large florist budget and we could knock that down a little to do this.... Otherwise....

Sniff!!!

Sept 20- All brides are sick-- we all talk about only $500 like it is nothing. I do it all the time-- oh it is only $1000 more, there is only a $300 difference. What am I thinking?

LOL, dc... This is SOOO incredibly true.... I'm like- What the heck- I will only get married once!!! Or I'll say to myself 'you deserve it'.... This decision today is really scary to me!!! Ahhhh!!!

To get the best photographer though, I will simply have to knock down my budget on the flowers!! What do you spend your money on photos or flowers?

Sept. i too splurged on photography. I went to Burtons for flowers. They are giving me everything I wanted for $700 less than the other florists I saw. They're great!

BTW, What is the average to spend on photography? One album with 72 images, 2 parent albums with 24 images, engagement shot, 3 photographers at the party, one 10x10. What would you say?

Also, Curly- I GOTTTA ask--- what is up with the funny and crazy images??? I love them!!!! They are infesting the board for the last couple of days and I'm loving it!!!! So cute!!!

Very cute curly.

We decided we would spend alot on photograper b/c the pictures will be capture the day and will be what we have for the rest of our lives. I think if you can live with losing the money and cutting back on flowers then you should do it. It really becomes a personal decision. We can each tell you what we would do but you have to decide in the end.

It's wild how we just throw around money when it comes to our wedding. It's true you only do it once but like Curly, I cannot stop to think about what we are paying b/c it will make me sick. lol But remember it is all worth it!!

We are paying around $5K and that is with 2 photographers. 3 will be quite a bit more.

Are you ready for this??? 6,000 without tax!!! Are you all still there? Maybe I should knock it down to 20 images in the parent albums and 60 in my album.... That would bring it down 500. Ugghhh!!! I hate this!

Do you mind if I ask what you girls are all doing for photography? Are you getting albums? Parent albums?
