CALLING ALL 9/03 BRIDES!!!

I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

Dani- I think it's coll if you don't go alone. I am having everything all in one place so I don't have to worry about that but if I was having church and then reseption I would. You'll have plenty of alone time. I think you should call Manny at Royalty Limo. They have given me te best prices so far for a Rolls and Escalde. Good Luck.

P.S. GTG is still on for 3/21. I will call Margarita Grill in a few days and see if they need any particular info as far as reservations go....

Dani - we are actually going with our bridal party as well. My parents, myself and BM's will go to the church in a limo and the guys will walk (the church is a block away from our apt where the boys will be getting ready) and then after the ceromony we will all board a party bus and then my parents and his mother and all grandparents will take the limo to the reception. We wanted to spend fun time with the BP b/c once the reception starts we will be busy talking with guests and dancing!

I think it is fine if you all go in the limo together. We might be doing that as well-- but I have always wanted one of the old cars (I know it is stupid but when else am I going to get to do that) so we might do that.

We need some action on this thread and maybe this will do it. I will FM some people that don't cHeck often. I have called Margarita Grill (in Huntington, 23 Wall St.) and spoke to Don. I have made reservation for 20 or so people on 3/21 at 7:30. I need to give him an exact number at leats 4 days prior. ( I told him the occasion and he promises to make it fun)

Sooooooooo, please RSVP here so I can keep a tab on who's going

I asked about the menu and we can have a fixed menu and price or open menu. I vote for open menu. Please let me know.

Hi girls! Where the hell is sept20yay! Did she get mad when all the Theresa go/stay stuff started? I don't think I've seen her since!

I will talk to FH about the GTG (not that he's invited) and see if we have anything planned that night! Although my liver will need a break after St. Patty's Day that week!

No, Rachel I am still here....I am just in a crazy intense training for my job out in Chicago. Limited access to a computer which kind of SUCKS! But I miss all you guys! What Theresa go/stay stuff? Did I miss something?

Oh also, funniest story!!! ..... I am so angry at my FI. I'm chatting with him about the wedding and he is like, 'we have so much time to plan'. I wanted to smack him.... I was like, what is this we? It's me and we ONLY HAVE SIX MONTHS. He's like, we did everything. I'm like, 'I did some stuff. YOU DID nothing! and I have to still do some stuff.... like

orde the bm dresses, get the shoes, get my shoes, get my tiara and veil, meet the rabbi, meet the band leader, apply for the license, get my birthcert, take our e pics,, get the transportation, announce the wedding, get the bm and groomsmen gifts, book the rehearsal dinner, finalize the hm, go for the fittings, finalize hair and makeup, mke sure you are dressed well, go to bridal party and bachelette party, book calligrapher, and oh- buy invitations! I'm like- now how does the time look?!!!!

One quick check with FH that he made no plans for us that evening, doubt it b/c I keep the calendar, but otherwise I will be there. Sounds like a great time. What did we ever decide on about inviting other girls?

Marissa - I know the feeling. FH and I just had the same conversation yesterday. He said I think we are doing well on the wedding plans. I had to set him straight about that. lol He tries to help but he by far cannot say we when speaking of wedding plans.

Curly - youa re so right. I would vote for open - gives us more choices but it really doesn't matter to me either way. I eat everythiing!!

It doesn't matter to me as long as there are margaritas-- Does the restaurant want us to get the fixed one-- it is probably easier for them that way?

I would love to go, but I do not have a ride home or at least back into Manhattan.

I live in the bronx.

If you know of anyone who is going back to the city and I could get a ride,then I would gladly come.
