Guess what - July 18th is the ONE DAY in July that I'm actually free!!! YAY! I'm up for margaritas, but not too many b/c my bachelorette party is the next night.

Can't wait for our b1tch session!!

Hi ladies! Haven't been on here in like forever. The wedding has been stressing me big time, but I feel like as it gets closer I am more and more in a coma or at least a stupor.

Since I was last on, I had my shower! It was the best day of my life, expecially since I am not one for attention. It was so beautiful! My friends flew in from everywhere for me and the house was strewn in pink decor with rose petals on the ground for me to walk on! I got to wear a fake veil and tiara for the whole time I was walking around and played three awesome games, including bridal bingo which everyone loved. I got recipes for a good marriage book- each person put in their favorite recipe and my sister and mother served tea food- sandwiches which were gobbled up in no time, champage all day, strawberries dipped in chocolate, fruit with whipped cream and brownies and every different kind of tea or coffee you could think of! My prince came in with roses just before the end! You gals will have the best time at yours! Got everything off my list and some lingerie and money even- from the g-parents.

Ummm, what else? Since I was last on, I got my shoes and veil and dropped the invitation envelopes off with the calligrapher. Next up is the program, engagement pics next week and I would like to purchase his wedding ring this weekend. I have been dieting like a mad woman and think I dropped a few pounds so feeling pretty good- but stressed. Love you gals!

I need a vacation from wedding planning

Going to look for shoes this weekend, and stuffing envelopes! Hopefully invites will go out next week. I also made an appt to see my flower sample, and to meet w. my photographer before the wedding. I have to travel for work a lot in July, so I want to have those things taken care of (as much as possible, that is)

How is everyone doing?? Are we official for the 7/18 GTG?

My invitations are just about done! I submitted the guest list to Lizard Designs this week!! I got my RB pillow custom made from a woman on Ebay and she only charged me $15!! Oh, and we booked a shuttle bus to take guests from the reception to the hotel (in case they can't drive ). I think that is the only new plans I've made!

This weekend I bought TJ'S wedding band- gorgeous! Due in next week and then I will take it to be engraved so that will be cool. Also, I ordered transportation cards from the invitation place and need to begin working on my programs. Looks like we will take e-pics Thursday or something. Lastly, nxt week our invitations will be ready to be picked up from the calligrapher. OMG- everythings going to fast. some of us already have only 2 digits left until their date!!!!

Speaking of double digits...I have 95 days to go!! Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi chicas, I bought my shoes this weekend, and began stuffing envelopes Got a little weepy stuffing them, I kept rereading them and thinking this is IT! It feels so real

Of course, this morning FMIL sends me an insert for her guests invites- she is SOOO lucky that I did not seal the envelopes that I stuffed. So now I have to print those up as yet another insert into the invite envelopes, but we are still on track to have those out by this weekend.

Limos are still outstanding, but we hope to have those booked by the end of the month. After that, the big stuff will be done, and it will be all about fittings and follow up appointments with vendors.

I only have 11 weeks to go I dont like looking at it that way, seems like too little time. I prefer listing by days

Where did you get your shoes???

Hi girls-

sounds like it was a busy weekend for us Sept brides...I had my shower too!! I was completely surprised and showed up in flip flops and a t-shirt but it was so fun. All my BM flew in from all over and stayed over Saturday night. It was a blast and makes the wedding feel very very close. My mom had it at The Inn on the Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor and it if wasn't pouring rain would have been the prettiest view. Oh well -still beautiful and great food.

I got my shoes at the Bridal Shoe Boutique on Old Country Road in Westbury. Here is a pic, but it does not do them justice:



There is beading on the shoe that is similar to my dress. And they are actually comfortable. I am not really planning on wearing them for that long, I am going to get sandals or something to change into after our first dance.

Sorry ladies, I have decided no longer to post on these boards due to all the crap. I am very saddened by all the recent actions and it's my time to depart........................
