CALLING ALL 9/03 BRIDES!!!

I've nixed the whole bathroom basket idea, LOL!!!!!

Danirn is getting married today and nrvbrd is tmrw. i am so emotional

I got a lot done this weekend:

-I went to the hall and dropped off the place cards, table #s, toasting flutes, favors, menus, and picture frames for place card table

- finished programs
- wrapped bridal party gifts
- finished hotel bags-bought earrings
- picked up my dress

I can't believe its so close - 6 days!!!

yikes!! only 2 days away for me and a few others i am off today but up early bc I couldn't sleep.

Can you believe I went to drop off all my stuff at the hall and FORGOT my floor plan and guest list!! Luckily FH found the floor plan in the boxes and I called my mom and she read me the list over the phone.

I was mortified - how could I have forgotten?!! Then we called my MIL to be so she could pay a portion of the final balance over the phone (she is in NC) and they do not allow that!! But made an exception for us, thankfully.

Other than that, today I am:
getting my nails done, mani & pedi
going to the bank
packing for HM
finishing programs!!
shining my e-ring
putting $ envelopes together!!!

edited to say OH yeah and I forgot to bring my guest book to the hall Should I just have my aunt hold onto it and bring it with her?

So ladies, here we are all married. Can you believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say that all the planning stress and excitement was worth it. Married life is all I expected and more.

I wish all of you many long yeras of blessed matrimony. It was fun planning and meeting you all.

Congrats everyone! I have no regrets...but I will admit that I came extremely close to admitting myself to Creedmoor hospital several times 2-3 days prior to my wedding day.

So, happy one month anniversary to all of us Some ONE month tips:
Ah...one month of married bliss! Chances are, you're still floating on Cloud 9, poring over your honeymoon pix and grappling with the gratitude of your thank-you cards.




Frame your wedding invitation.

Create a memory box: include favorite items such as the ring pillow, dried bouquet petals, cake topper, and favor.

Preserve your gown or have it made into a quilt for your newlywed (or baby's) bed.

Create a time capsule of what was happening in the world on your big day -- a copy of the newspaper, weather report, a recording of your favorite song, and so on. Seal up the capsule and open it on your 25th (or 50th) anniversary.

Buy a special box for honeymoon souvenirs: shells, leis, postcards, a handful of sand.

Frame a favorite photo of your wedding day to display in a special place.

Carry your bridal handkerchief in your handbag.

Save a copy of your vows so you can exchange them again at your vow renewal ceremony.

Display your marriage contract on the wall in the bedroom or living room.

While the memories are still fresh, record them in a memory book or journal.
