Since this hasn't been moved and since there is no activity on the other board, I thought I would bring the exact title back.

Lisa - I know you started this and you get full credit but I just wanted to bring it back to where we might get some activity.

We're building a house now too and I thought about just staying home for the HM. It's actually a very fun thought. You guys will have a great time no matter where you spend the time after the wedding... you can always plan something special for your 1 yr anniversary!

Miss Curly, I will take lots of pics and video while in Hawaii for you, so when I get back it will seem like you were there I am sure you and FH can make a very special HM at home, maybe do a nice long weekend at a nice hotel. The sacrafice will be will worth it when you are in your own new house!!

Due to a last minute change in FH schedule, we are going to do invites together tonight!!! Wish me luck ladies, this has been dragging on forever and I hope we can finally pick and order something...FH joked that if we dont find them today, we are going to get the kind from Hallmark where you write the info in

Wow Danielle, you've just come out of your shell today. I'm so happy to hear you are in the same boat as I am. It's hard to do both at the same time but sacrifices have to be made somewhere.

Hmichick- Are you making fun of me, LOL!! just kidding. When you get back from your honeymoon you'd better show me pics. Better yet I'll wear a Hula skirt while I'm looking at them and do the little dance to really feel as if I were there So, I see you'll be going to Hallmark tmrw. Make sure you use black ink and not blue when you are filling them in. Blue is so tack-ey, LOL!!!!!!

Danielle, I was the same way, and now I have been on here a year and am still not near addicted. I have seen brides do it in 3 months...I am just slow

Curly, are you kidding, I was going to write the cards in pink or purple gel pen like I did w. my Sweet Sixteen invitations. Alternating colors, of course. I hear thats very 'in' for weddings now, a la Martha

I am using a gel pen too- but I am using bubble letters.

I have been on a year too - and am still not addicted. I originally vowed to quit this site when I reached 500 posts but that didn't happen.

what's after newbie?? Fanatic?? How many more to go?? I'm at the invitation stage now too and I think this is the most agonizing part of the whole process.. so many to choose from! I've ordered a few samples and will get them next week. Hopefully we'll find something we like... Let me know how you guys do!

Ohhh! We looked there also...it's beautiful!!! It is getting exciting isn't it??? Not much longer now. We've been engaged for 2 1/2 years so the 6 month mark was MAJOR for me
