I heard about the pagan thing too, which is what turn me off the unity candle. My church would let us have it if we wanted it though.

Do you know the song 'In My Life' I cant recall all the lyrics verbatim but they say something like '...though I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them, In my life, I'll love you more'. Another one that I love is 'Till there was you' Both are love songs of sorts but not the type that would be inappropriate for a father-daughter dance. I'm sure there are at least a 2 dozen more with all their great songs
