Calling All Brides from NYC/New Rochelle/Bronx

Does anyone know of any hair person that will come to your house the day of the wedding and NOT require a minimum?

Everyone that is being suggested to me is out in LI and they are either charging a crazy price because of traveling fees OR they are req. like a 5 person minimum and right now it's just looking like me, my mom and possibly one other BM.

I'm still going to check out a salon in the Bronx by my mom's house but she said it would be nicer/easier if someone could come to us so we aren't running around the morning of.

Are you spending the night out on the island for your wedding? I'm from Throggs Neck and we went to Essa Salon and they did hair & make up for who ever wanted. I know its on long island but they did a great job. You can bring the photographers there as well. They also allow you to bring in your own make-up person. So if all your girls are getting make-up and only some are getting hair you should still be able to all be in one place. Just food for thought. The girl who did my hair won Emmies for hair on soap operas. She has one in the store.

I'm originally from Throggs Neck too and that's where I will be getting ready. The ceremony is at St. Benedicts so I wanted to keep it somewhat local for the hair (or have someone come to my house if possible). Someone suggested Guys & Dolls on Tremont - I've never been there before but like 4 people recommended it to me.

Also, I know that there are a lot of salons in Morris Park, so if anyone has suggestions over there I am open.

My Sister got Married in St. Benedicts. We opted for an outdoor wedding. Try calling Naomi- she does my hair all the time. She works across from the post office. I can't remember the name of the store!!
Since your local she may come to you. I'll FM you her #.

oh wait I think I know what hair salong you are talking about (I actually live right around the corner from the post office LOL).

Is it Michelle's or something like that?

OOOO that was my old hair salon I went to before I moved! Express Yourself.

The only problem with that is my mom doesn't want to use the hair person she normally goes to there for the wedding because she didn't like the way her hair came out for my brothers. She'd rather go to some different.

I am using the Bridal Touch by Elena.
She lives in LI but will literally travel anywhere, she might charge you like a $20 travel fee but thats it. she is a preferred vendor on LIW. she did my epics makeup and hair. pics in album

Hi fellow TN brides! I live on Hollywood, around the corner from the Marina Del Ray!

Unfortunatly i dont have any hair recommendations, i havent even started to look for that. But for privious parites my family has used this woman Camile....but i dunno if she is still working. Kinda crazy, but very good!

I'll try to talk to my mom and get her number for you.
