My aunt gave up one of her Aruba weeks in May to give to me for November 1-8. Now they are telling her they have no availability for that week, in Aruba.....or anywhere else!!!!
My mom has been on the phone for 2 hours a day pretending to be my aunt, because she is better at getting things done, and so far the only places available are in Mexico (didn't really want to go there).
AND
they are telling my mom we can only do a Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. I used my boss's timeshare in November and we did a Tuesday to Tuesday no problem. Anyone have any advice? I really don't know much about the actual timeshare itself, but they are giving us such a hard time!

We have an RCI timeshare also, and every time we have used it we had to go Saturday to Saturday. My advice is to keep calling. Stuff does free up as more people 'deposit' there weeks at various resorts for the year. Also, try to call the resort directly say you are your aunt and own a week in May but need to switch to November. It can't hurt to try.

That's exactly what my aunt originally tried to do.....I am so glad we didn't buy a timeshare!!

Ok, we are going to Cabo San Lucas on my In-Laws RCI Timeshare. we are booked Saturday 8/27-Saturday through Saturday Sept 10th. However we are not arriving till Monday 8/29 and checking out on 9/7. You just have to book the hotel through RCI and then call the actual hotel to tell them when you will be arriving.

oooh, I think that's what I did when we went to Cabo!! I had to fax over the reservation request, and they let us have any week that we wanted, thanks for reminding me!
But what if RCI says they don't have that week free?
P.S. Are you staying at the Marina Fiesta? That's where we stayed in Cabo.

Actually we are staying in Los Cabos its right outsitde Cabo.. very secluded... at the Royal Solaris
