Calling all Duet Brides!

Thanks to a few of you, we met with Duet last night and loved them! It is incredile what they are offering for the price. A little hard to believe but we have decided that we can't pass it up. The pictures were so beautiful and they were so accomodating. I am going to call there today and set an appointment so we can sit and draw up a contract.

My only concern is that we didn't meet with the actual photographers, just Eric and Nicole. They are going to put the photographer's names on our contracts. Who should I ask for? What photographers are you using? Did you met them beforehand?

I loved littlecat's pics and would love to have the same photographers as she had. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks!! I forgot the names of my photographers but they were so wonderful!! Eric was my videographer. I didn't know who my photographers were going to be until i met them at the casual day. I don't think that they would work with any photographers that weren't great. It sounds corny but they take a lot of pride in their work and really care that everything comes out perfect.

If you want you could tell them that you want the photographers the I had (Kimberly, August 2). My sign board is actually still there. I wouldn't worry too much.

You are getting married 2 days after me!!

We booked Duet also. And I know Eric is our videography.

From what Eric and Nicole told us they have 2 teams of photographers and they are family.

I made it clear and it is in my contract that I wanted to focus more on a candid style and black & white. Eric said that he would assign us the team that focuses more on that style.

Unfortunately, I don't know the names, he did say one name, but I can't remember. If I heard the name again, I am sure I could recall.

Thanks littlecat! They said that they were going to put the names on the contract so I was just concerned who that would be. I did see the pride that came in their work. They really were wonderful. I am very excited about them. I will ask them who did your wedding and see if we can get them. They did a great job! Thanks again!

PS - We are only doing photo with them so I know it wont be Eric.

We visited them also and are going back this weekend to talk to them again and to probably sign the contract. They have 2 teams and one is already booked for our date (the team with Eric is booked) but they assured us that they are all family and they are all wonderful. I guess it's not like other studios that lets you pick the exact photographer based on his/her style. It is one of my concerns but maybe it doesn't matter.

We loved their style and didn't find anyone else who did the same style- especially in that price range! We definitley want posed pictures too so I hope that they take them!

I called Nicole a little while ago and she is going to talk to the photographers to see when we can all meet and sign a contract together. This makes FI and I much more comfortable, knowing who they are. It was one of my concerns as well. she was more than willing to make it work and help us out. They are soooo accomodating. I love them!

We booked them and had it written into the contract that Eric would be present at the wedding. We just have confidence is his ability to direct his photographers and videographers.
By the way, a quick question.
Do they use digital for there photos? videography? or do they us film?

They use film. Each photographer uses a different type though to get the different effects.

oh yeah, that's right. thanks. i forgot. black and white, different type lenses for different picture effects. your reminding me just made me happy.They really are awesome.

It is our goal to have everythng done, so that we can FORGET everthing about the planning, and just enjoy the day.
