What exactly are you supposed to be teaching them about satiety?

I'm not a nutritionist ..but am very interested in the area so thought i could help with the little knowledge i have on the subject :)

You could for example, compare two foods that have the same amount of calories....and show that how, because of what they contain (fat, protein, carbs...) make the body feel differently and send diff messages to the brain, meaning the difference between feeling full and still having cravings.

An example....maybe compare a doughnut along side a plate of food (baked chicken, veggies & piece of low cal wheat bread) and show the breakdown of each thing.....both have around 350 calories, but one ups your sugar levels, making you want another..while the other holds you over and gives a feeling of fullness...

just my idea!!
