Calling all Leonard's of Great Neck Brides

Hi Ladies,
I have a few questions and I was wondering if you knew anything before I hunt down my BM.

1. What's up with the cake situation? I heard you are only offered two styles??? I don't need anything fancy, but I had a certain style in mind.

2. Do they take care of your decorating (Bridal attendant) or do I have to get a family member to do that? Decorating other than flowers.

3. Do we have to print our own menus?

4. Can we have the cocktail hour outside?

5. Who do we tip? Who does the 18% gratuity cover? The other halls I checked out required a certain tip for the valet and maitree'd. Most of the time don't the guests tip people like the valet and bartender?

6. Can you bring in food,desserts, treats from the outside for your cocktail hour????


I am going there in Saturday to ask them all of these questions. I know it's early, but I don't want any surprises.

i didnt like any of the cakes they offered, so im getting my cake from an outside bakery and it will be delivered to Leonards but i hear u can get a siimple stacked cake and have ur florist decorate it


- i know of many brides that have had their cockatail hr outside, i think u can, ask ur BM unless some rules have been changed

u have to tip Maitre'd and bridal attendent...

Really they dont offer that many cakes !! That *****!!!

I thought you are able to do your cocktail anywhere you want..as long as it is available!!

I went to talk to my BM the other day and he said they can take care of placing your decorations/centerpieces/place cards/etc.

They can provide the menus for you as well
