Calling all men need advice on gifts for Groomsmen

Okay so part of their gifts are gigantic 34 oz. beer mugs.
We are having them personalized....I suggested the guys Names/Nicknames but FH says no thats lame. He has no clue what to put on them either.
My question to you..............
Are just the names lame OR what would you suggest putting on it?

Please please help

well, my hubby did the beer mugs as well, he put their first name with our wedidng date engraved.
For the BM, he added best man in all caps along with the name & date. It looks really nice. The guys love it.

i say go with the nicknames. a friend of mine did it on his guys' flasks, and it's so much cooler and more personalized to have the nickname, than just 'Rob'.
and when all the guys opened them, and saw them were personalized they were 'oh, cool.' but then they read them and were all 'oooooh, looky it says Foos, how coooool is THAT!?'

I'm thinkin along the line of watches for my groomsmen....nothing expensive but something they'll appreciate and use, I've gotten a money clip once and i think it may still be in it original packaging if its still around that is.

the personalized beer mugs are good too....maybe i'll do both

My brother in law got us nice silver engraved pocket watches. The ole school ones with the chain and the guys wore them with their tuxes on the day of the wedding. I thought that was cool...
