Anyone planning on going to the showcase on January 29? I think we're going. I got a lot of info from the last one and since I'm not even close to being done yet, I thought I'd check this one out again.

UFFFF ....THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!

I insisted so much in having a good photographer! FH did not want to spend that much, but I did not give in!!!!

Other question, how is she when organizing the poses, etc ... FH is kind of anti-pose ... I am working him out though!!!

She was very good with posing. She spent alot of time with me alone and the pix came out great. She had alot of great ideas for pix, and if you have any ideas just let her know. My husband hates having his pix taken but she got right to it and had us do some many poses and he didnt mind. We did everything before the cocktail hour in there studio so we could enjoy ourselves. She only pulled us out of the reception once during salad but that was our choice b/c we had some specific pix we wanted taken. It is alot of pix and might be a pain for anyone who hates the camera but its well worth it. Just tell him to **** it up for the day.

Good to hear that she has a nice working attitude. Yes, it is a pain to mellow down our dear FH, but it is worthy ... pictures is the only thing we have left besides our memories

We are doing the pictures before the ceremony too, but in the gardens of the Westbury Manor, hopefully the weather would be nice!

Great pics!! I am using Cassarino too, however, I am using Jodi. We loved her photos and thought it was going to be good luck because that's my MOH's name. Who knows... wishful thinking!

I am also a WM bride to be. I am using Cassarino but have been looking at other vendors as well. I think you should look at other vendors as well to see if WM vendors are better. I like the photograper studio they recommended but wasn't thrilled with the DJs they recommended...I'm still searching for one

I am also a WM bride to be for this November & I plan to use the limo (Royalty), & travel agent (In & Out) that they recommend, For Photography I also plan to use Cassarino, but I'm not sure who to use for video, I'm still shopping around..

Are any other Scotto Brides using Cassarino for video as well as photo? & If not, who do you recommend for video & why wouldn't you use Cassarino for both services?

I am not using Cassarino for video. It is not something they specialize in. Tammyjill can probably give you more feedback on this, I'd FM her. I am using Bellarino, they are located in Bellmore, who I HIGHLY recommend.

thanks for the tip Octbride, it definitely seems that Cassarino specializes in photography

did you think Bellarino had reasonable prices/packages for video??

Josie,

I used Cassarino for both. I find it better that way, b/c that way the photographer and videographer have worked together before and since they are a house vendor they are familiar with the facility and everything. I should be getting my video in about 8 weeks. we just gave them our pix for the video a week and a 1/2 ago. I like that we get the unedited copy as well.

Definately!!! I would definately check them out!! Phil is Great it is a husband wife team! FH & I fell in love with their work right away! I would check them out and also Wild Rose, lots of LIW brides speak highly of them too!

Andrea--thats the same reason we were thinking of using Cassarino for both photo & video b/c it seems easier since they work well together & are familiar, I was thinking it may also work out cheaper that way, but I'm not sure..

Definitely let me know how your video turns out,
By the way your pics came out nice & you look great!! Thanks for sharing, your dress is beautiful as well, do you mind saying who the designer is & where you went to get it? I am currently dress hunting!

BTW - I wasn't putting down Cassarino's video... it was just my personal preferance to go elsewhere for it... I'm sure they do a great job!

So I went to see Cassarino - they are really nice but I want to meet with Proline and Sherwood Triart also. We decided to try to use all of the recommended vendors that the catering hall recommends. I can't wait until next week's Bridal showcase. I hope we can make a lot of appointments!
