Calling all Scotto Brothers brides...

Anyone planning on going to the showcase on January 29? I think we're going. I got a lot of info from the last one and since I'm not even close to being done yet, I thought I'd check this one out again.

I got something in the mail re: the showcase but I went to some vendor thing at WM when I first booked and now I get all these annoying phone calls so I don't think I want to be bothered again. Do you think they're really helpful?

I think I am going to go. I am just starting all the planning so I figure this would be a good help! I wish it started a little later though!!

If you don't want to get calls, try not to fill out forms. I only filled out a couple of cards and after about a week the calls died down.

By the way, you don't have to show up at 6:00. It's not anything formal and you wont miss a band performing. It's just a chance to walk around and meet all the vendors rather than running around all over the island to them.

It's not overly helpful, but you may get one or two ideas out of it and since it's free, that makes it worth it to me. Plus you get to sample some of the food your guests will have that day.

No this is one at the Chateau Briand. I hated the Perfect Party Planner thing. I found that to be a complete waste of my time-except for the binder.

I never went to one of those... I ended up making an appointment with the Perfect Wedding Planners and discussing it one on one... i think it was a lot more helpful!

Hi - I am new to the boards - we just book our wedding with Westbury Manor -we went to the seminar last night - we LOVED it - I thought it was sooo helpful - anyway the good thing about the showcase on the 29th at Chateau Briand it is just for Scotto Brothers brides!

Congrats Maddy! I LOVE Westbury Manor!!! I am a Fox Hollow bride myself! FH's bro had his wedding at WM and it is just beautiful! good luck to you!

I am also a Westbury Manor bride getting married there in September - very excited since I love it there! I can't make it to the showcase on 1/29 sinc I now work in Jersey - I wish they had something on a Sat/Sun when I could come. Are you ladies using any of their vendors? I chose a photo/video not from their list.....

I am using Cassarino for pics.... We are probably going to use Pedestals for flowers.

That's it, everything else is different.

And maybe Alexis limousines, not sure yet though!

I can't believe how quickly someone responded to my posting!
My friend got married at Fox Hollow and used all the recommended vendors - she said they were all GREAT - we are going to setup appts with them - I think Cassarino was her photographer and videographer - is anyone going to the showcase

Congrats Maddy - I am getting married at WM the week before you - 6/19/04!!! I love the place!! Great choice

I plan on going to the showcase to check it out. I booked photography with Cassarino - a recommended vendor and Bellarino for videography. Don't know what else I'll use yet! Good luck starting all the planning!!

I am using Royalty Limos, but so far I have not gone with any other vendors that they suggest. If I were to go with one of their photographers it would be Cassarino- I really liked their work. I will probably wind up using their florist, but I'm not sure yet.

I am going to the showcase. I have one or two vendors that I'd like to meet with and since I live about 2 miles from the CB, this makes it a lot easier for me.

I got married in November at Chateau Briand and actually used all their house vendors and I highly recommend all of them. Cassarino, Body Rock and Alexis Limo. Cassarino, my proofs came out beautiful, my photographer Cynthia was perfect. Body Rock I had Ronnie and people are still talking about it, in fact 2 people from my wedding booked them for theres after they were at our wedding. Alexis Limo I couldnt ask for better. It poured on my wedding day and had no complaints, they made sure me and my bridal party got in the church with out getting a drop of rain on us. They have beautiful brand new caddys. I also had the Phantom 5 Rolls Royce, gorgeous Ask for Steven. The prices are very reasonable and if you are getting married in any Scotto facility you get a discount. They are located right in Chateau Briand. If any one has any questions about these vendors let me know!!!

I am going to post 2-3 on here but if u want to see more let me know and i can email you some. Also note I scanned these pix so it doesnt look exactly like this but as you know they use digital cameras so they can cut , crop and zoom in on anything.
