okay so I was wondering how many people are having small weddings (100 or less). I feel like a loser that no one could show up (thats what I get for changing dates 3 months before and also picking a Thursday night). I mean i know its the quality of people not the quantity but I was wondering how many people are having smaller weddings.
I think only about 61 people are going to come in total. (unfortunately our minimum is 75 but o well)
How about everyone else? And where are you having it and whats your minimum?

Our minimum is 70 and we're still under by about 10 (still waiting on a couple of RSVPs). Many of the people we thought would come declined; we had an insane 'no' return. I guess it's partly due to the holiday weekend. We also had a lot of OOT guests.

We are a smaller wedding- we are inviting 170 and our minimum is 125- I really hope we are super close to the minimum, I dont want to go over.

i think there were about 90 people at our eparty and it was great - i wouldnt mind having the same guest list at our wedding

i got over the fact that many people RSVPed no I invited a little bit over 140 and it looks like we are going to meet our minimum of 100 many said they couldnt take off of work blah blah blah
unfortunately i cant sweat the small stuff anymore- you are going to have an amazing day no matter what

We are having a smaller wedding at Douglaston Manor in the Grand Room. We only had to guarantee 70.

I only have 85 coming. My RSVP date is June 1 and I still have about 10 people who have not even responded......it is crazy. But I feel that the people that really care about us will be there no matter what and if that means a smaller crown, then that is fine with me.

Some people know a lot of people and have a lot of family and some (like me and FH) don't. We even invited his cousins that he hasn't spoken to in years and are from OOT so we knew we would have a smaller turnout..but that is okay too. Your day will be wonderful no matter how many people attend.

honestly I dont see anything wrong with that...We thought our guestlist would be around 150 people tops...but then his parents gave us a list of god knows who and its about 75 more.
I would have been prefectly fine with the 100 people at our engagement party. The people I know really care

Our minimum is 120 and it looks like we might not make it. Otherwise I'm happy its a smaller wedding.

We are inviting about 60 guests. We don't have a minimum. We wanted a small wedding because we are doing the entire thing ourselves, and we also only wanted the family and close friends. For us, it's not about making money back or having a big blowout. It's having the people who are most important to us there to see us become one, and to celebrate in our special day with us.

Our minimum is 75 and our room actually holds a max of 80! Our A list has 85 on it, because we know at least 5 people won't be coming but they should get an invite anyway (eldery that live far away). If we start sinking too far under 75, we have a small B list we can turn too of some other not so close family friends and some college friends.

I had honeslty hoped for under 100 people. Once we started adding people and my mom wanted to invite all of her cousins, we will have what I consider a large wedding - 150

we just got married 3 days ago (on the honeymoon right now, but DH is sleeping so i snuck onto LIW) :) anyway.....our final count was 74 ppl and a couple of children and i can honestly say it was the perfect amount! i went through a period when i felt like a loser about it too but now i'm SO glad we didn't have more people. as it is, i felt like we didn't have enough time to properly talk to everybody so i can't even imagine how it must feel to have 150-200 people to chat with!
