We're having 75 people, and I'm happy with that. There are times when I felt a little upset about not having a huge group, but not anymore: the people who I love most will be there. And the people who can't make it (expenses, sickness, etc.) wouldn't have come even if we had invited more people, so that didn't matter.
With a smaller group, we were able to have the wedding we really want: a whole weekend away at a country inn / B&B. Out of 75 people, 68 are staying over at the inn with us and we have the whole inn to ourselves. We couldn't have done anything like that with a larger wedding.

Our minimum was 75 and we ended up with 83. Let me tell you, I wouldn't have changed it for anything. We got to see everyone and talk to everyone. Everyone that was important to us was there...not just friends of our parents we have never met.

we have 91 and i am shocked. I was expecting only a max of 80. The wedding is in hawaii. I am overwhelmed with some guests coming on a 12 hour plane ride to make it to our wedding. we even have someone coming from kenya

I was thinking the same thing. We are inviting about 130 but we have a minium of 80. YAY!

We haven't booked yet, but our list is 114 and we are probably going to cut even more (distant relatives that I NEVER see). I don't know what percentage usually comes, but I'm sure we will be well under 100. I can't imagine having many more; my sister did and it was too much.

We are having a small wedding... It's kinda crazy cause we started out with like 160 and started cutting down to people we REALLY would want to spend the day with and we are down to like 83 invitations to go out which we KNOW some can not attend we might end up with about 57 people.

We are inviting about 60 guests. We don't have a minimum. We wanted a small wedding because we are doing the entire thing ourselves, and we also only wanted the family and close friends. For us, it's not about making money back or having a big blowout. It's having the people who are most important to us there to see us become one, and to celebrate in our special day with us.
This is us! No minimum, paying ourselves and want to keep it small. We're trying to stay under 100 but now that I find family from the UK want to come after all it might go up a little.

it was odd we thought only 85 would show up for our wedding we got 101 said yes but only 92 showed the day of. I sitll think that is a normal size wedding in my head but people say that is on the higher smaller side IoI
Our wedding was amazing we had so much room but not so much it looked silly. We had our room switched from a smaller room to the ballroom since no one booked it. I was terrified that the tables of 8 would be sparse so i added more to the flower budget to get the tables more even looking. It worked VERY nicely.
We were just at another wedding recently and people were still raving about ours during this other persons wedding. I felt horrible but sooo good inside. Said I didn't make them stuffed like sardines like every other wedding they have been too and how amazing it was, etc.
