Calling all St. Aidan's Brides......

Where are you having/did you have your rehearsal dinner?
I am thinking about maybe Riverbay, La Parma, Piccolo's on Jericho Tpke. or Jonathans, but I want to check out some more places. I'm going to have about 40 people.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Echo. I've never eaten there, I will have to check it out. I like the idea of Jonathon's because they have a seperate room.

From your list I looked at La Parma and Jonathans. I also looked at Ecco, Seventh Street Cafe and George Washington Manor.

However, I can't be much help because I ended up booking the restaurant at Chateau Briand. They have an awesome deal for Scotto brides that was just too good to pass up. Plus, since St. Aidan's rehearsals are usually on Friday night they have piano and guitar players who do Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. Great atmosphere and nice private area. Don't know how much that costs though not non Scotto brides.

My second choice was Jonathan's. But we needed I think a guarantee of 50 for the back room, but the two front areas also can be reserved for parties and they had less of a minimum. We were using 40 as our estimate when we spoke to people.

If you need more info, let me know.

I was married at St. Aidan's and had mine at Papparazzi on Jericho Turnpike at the corner of Glen Cove Road. I wanted it at The Lucky Duck on Nassau Blvd. in Garden City Park but it was already booked
