I saw Ben Rothlisberger being interviewed on one of the sports channel and he looks really cute. Anyone agree.

I've always supported the Steelers since my moms side lives there, and my grandma is a huge fan. It's so cute seeing her cheer.

lol I'm not sure. But right after her quadruple bypass (years ago) she was banned from watching them since she gets so excited.

aweeee! My brother is a Steelers fan too and he is going nuts, he can't wait for the game. He is a major Yankees fan too and he said that if the Steelers loose Saturday he'll be more upset at that than he was when the Yankees lost to Boston.

All I have to say is WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

we were out to dinner with some friends in the city, and I had a view of the TV. I was so excited I knocked DH's wine over onto his plate and chair. Luckily he was in the restroom (and had finished eating).

How bad were they??? The defense was good we have to give them credit.

The bus did his thing, as did Burress and Palomalo. They were all over the place.

What the F*** happened to Big Ben. He played like a Big Dope. They better get their act together next weekend because whether we play the colts or the patriots, we are playing two tough teams.

yeah i know.. I really thought the Jets were going to win. They got lucky.. better get their act together for next week.
if Indianapolis wins today there will be war in our house next week. DH will be wearing his Manning jersey, and I'll have my Roethlisberger. We agreed on no gloating either way.

i am a Jet fan but i guess you all will have to deal...

IMHO...the Jets played better than the Steelers..Did they win no, they made some bad misses...
BUT they definately played better than the Steelers...such a shame

LOL...Last Night we watched it at DH's brother's house because it was his daughter's birthday...and his other brother didn't come for dinner, he made up some lame excuse, (that one of his son's had a headache and was sleeping...so he stayed home with him while his wife came with the other son) The reason being that he is a JETS fan and he wanted to watch it alone. His son was not sick....He came after the game and acted like a sore looser.

DH didn't gloat at all. His dad was the only Jet fan watching the game with us and he shook DH's hand and said 'congratulations, that was a good game'...and it was. Noone had a reason to gloat. But DH's brother was like 'if you guys play like that next week you are not winning the championship' so DH was like 'at least we're in the championship' he wouldn't have made that comment had his brother not opened his mouth at all...come on grow up. Then they got into an arguement over the kicker missing the field goal thing. It just went on and on. DH left the room and I told him to sit down and relax, because he was getting all worked up and that is very unlike him. DH's mother later on said to him 'oh don't pay attention to your brother, he's just sore because his team lost'...whatever he needed to act his age....he is an adult. Both he and his wife were acting like little kids. His older son was rooting for the steelers as well and at one point his mom took the terrible towel from him and threw it on the floor and was stomping on it...she needs to grow up too. you are an adult, set an example in front of kids...especially yours....

DH is not proud of the way the Steelers won. We need to play much tougher next week. That's going to be an interesting game if your husband's team plays the steelers. At least you guys have an agreement not to gloat. You can be happy and cheer if your team wins but no gloating. That's good that at least you both can watch the game together.

i am a steeler fan and thrilled!!! i have been a fan since i was 6 years old and took all the teasing through the terrible years and just from jet and giant fans in general. although i agree that they could have played better the way they have all season they still won and you have to give them respect for that.

I agree...a wins still a win. Some may think that the Jets played better (if your'e a fan) but lets face it...and think about how the Jets scored...It was because of ben's bad throws and mistakes of the Steelers...

IMHO noone played better. Yes I thought the Jets were going to win but not because they played better. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I'm not proud of the way they won but still they did and i'm still happy for them too. Next weekend will be very tough for them.
