Calling All Steelers Fans Only...

yep, in my opinion, the jet offense was atrocious (only 3 offensive points) and both defenses were pretty even. No matter who won, it came down to luck, which unfortunately did not swing our way on this day. Oh well.

The only silver lining in this cloud is that Bettis is one of my RB's in my playoff fantasy league, so a good performance by him, could net me $500. And Brady is one of my QB's so, a good game by Bettis next week and a New England win may put some cash in my pocket

i am a Jet fan but i guess you all will have to deal...

IMHO...the Jets played better than the Steelers..Did they win no, they made some bad misses...
BUT they definately played better than the Steelers...such a shame

i have to say i disagree..i feel the Jets defense was EXCELLENT...Beautiful interceptions AND fumble recovery!
They played better!

The Steelers need to get their act together and play good. We are playing New England the Superbowl Champs...

By the way does anyone else here think that Ben Roethlisberger is cute. I saw him being interviewed once on one of those sports channels and I was like 'wow he's cute'

I was not too proud of the Steelers performance either and I am a fan.

I was so disgusted with Ben Roethlisberger's performance. But I still think he's cute.

i agree and disagree with jen--yes the jet defense played very well. But, I don't base that on the interception and fumble recovery solely. Half the times those things are based on luck more than anything else. The 20 points scored by the Steelers were 20 offensive points given up by the Jet defense. Not saying the Jet defense didn't play well, but the offense didn't step up enough, which meant more ball time for the Steelers, and less time for the defense to rest. They were tired in the 4th quarter.

But hopefully the Jets will correct this in the offseason. First thing is that Hackett needs to go as offensive coordinator. He's horrible and WAY to conservative, relying on the same 'Martin up the middle' plays and short passes for Pennington. We need variety, someone who can look at the offense, figure out our strengths and then create an innovative offense around it.

And the fact that Brien should be out as kicker is a given.

But, I've never been a Pats fan, but I have to say, what a performance!!! That was a clinic they put on today and give the devil their due, I predict them playing Philly in the Superbowl and winning. Even if Terrell Owens comes back for the Eagles, he's not going to be 100%. But a 50% Owens may be all it takes to get the job done. Should be a good game.

For the Steelers, good win, lucky win. Better get their act straight, because if they're going to have such a hard time beating the Jets, where we admittedly have our limitations, they're going to get beat in short order by the Pats. Doesn't matter to me who wins, as long as the Pats play the Eagles because McNabb and Brady are my 2 quarterbacks in my playoff fantasy league, with $500 on the line.

Yes the Steelers are the underdog for this sunday's game but I don't want to see the Pats winning either. Like the Yankees, they get on my nerves. They are like a needle in my back that I can't remove.

I hope the Steelers win! Give someone else a chance to be the superbowl champs. I have no money bet on them, just my heart.

Anyone listen to Mike and the Mad dog? They were just ripping Ben Roethlisberger apart saying that the Pats coach will have him for Lunch. Whatever you looser! go join Chad Pennington on the golf course will you...I hate that guy, he is such a moron. If the Steelers loose then it wasn't meant to be for them. Ben is only a rookie and even if they do loose, this man still had a great season for a rookie.

I've been hearing this thing where they say that Chad Pennington looked to giddy on the field after the game. He was smiling and chatting with Ben Roethlisberger. They were talking about it on Mike and the Mad dog. In fact they were saying that this man just lost a big playoff game what was he smiling about.

Anyone know the story behind this.

OK fine if Ben plays like he did on Saturday then yes we will definitely loose no doubt. But he just annoyed me cuz he was constantly repeating that the coach of the Pats will have Ben for Lunch.
