Calling Plus Size girls

Hey ladies,

Anyone have any pics of their dresses along with information on where you went.

I know I will be going to Lillettes in Baldwin and Estelles. I did a search and they seem to have a good selection for us to try on.

I WOULD SO LOVE TO SEE PICS. If anyone of you have some I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I went to Valentina's in Brooklyn. Here is the dress from the internet.



Here is me trying on the sample. Remember that the sample was not my size.

Paloma Blanca has diva line, which is size 18-26, i think.

Jessica McClintock has very nice plus size dresses. David's Bridal also carries many different styles.

Here's mine, from David's. Mine is an 18. David's has from size 1-26. They have the same dresses for plus sizes as the smaller sizes.

Sorry you can't see it too well. White on white is pretty dumb.

Irish tracy you looked great. Congrats.

I think I want to go with one that has sleeves but with the see through material.

I am a size 20 and Used David's Bridal. They did right by me, but I have heard of some problems. They did a great job on my dress and any problems that came up they fixed immmediatly. Everything fit right the day of the wedding.

This dress was very reasonable $565 including tax. The day I ordered it they had $75 off my dress. (promotion). It is Ivory and Rum Pink.

I had started looking for dresses when I was on WW for a few months and found that a lot of the designers have plus size gowns. I never thought I would lose the weight that I did,(57 pounds HURRAY!!!) and the dress was a Mori Lee. I got it at Estelles. I am now making the dress 5 sizes smaller, and am no longer a plus size, but this company did great by me.

I ordered mine as a size 18 because I am insistent upon shedding some pounds. This is two sizes smaller than the chart suggested.

I ordered mine from Fantasia Bridal is Rocky Point. They had a selection of plus size dresses as well.

Try not to be discouraged when trying them on. I could not fit in any of them.





The dress is from Private Label and will be in all white with white beading. I am also making the straps wider.
