calypso or regaee bands

calypso or regaee bands

I'm having a beach themed wedding and we're thinking of hiring a band to play during cocktail hour. Any ladies who have seen or done this? Any suggestions? I know there are a few on LI that people use, just looking for recommendations if possible!

they are the absolute best..we are using them..they happen to be personal friends of ours..but we only got to know them by going to see them so much we got to know them..that how my fiance and I met..they are AMAZING and truly talented..and my fiance is from Trinidad..and he LOVES them...its hard to find better than them..REALLY!!!

JennRenne had one at her cocktail hour, and she LOVED them. Not sure who she used.

I just saw a steel drum band & they were Awesome!!!

THe Merry Makers is AWESOME!! Vivian is great to deal with!! I ahve been to 3 summer/beach weddings and tehy all used them....verrry goood!! Not sure on the phone number tho....will look it up in the phone bookif you need me too!! They are great tho!
