I'd like to buy DH one for Valentines Day. Would you recommend yours? We've never had one, so I guess something 'user friendly' would be good. I'd like to buy a good quality one though. Thanks.

I bought my parents one from PC Richards for Christmas. It's a Sony that records right onto mini-DVD's. You don't have to transfer them because they pop into any dvd player (there's a smaller slot for them) and they play like a regular dvd. The camcorder also has still images on it so it's sort of like a digital camera as well. It was about 800 dollars. I would rather have the one with the DVD than the little tape so there's no transferring.
