It's a nice idea. But personally I feel like it's a waste of money. You'll get a ton of similar shots and they might not even be that good.

I did them. None of the pictures came out well. Most were dark. Best pics came from friends with digital cameras. THey were a waste of money.

Re: Cameras on Tables
I did it. We put out 17 cameras and CVS lost 6 of them I was soooooooooooo pi**ed!!! It was a nice way to get pictures of people that you wouldn't have pictures of. I recommend getting them but DON'T BRING THEM TO CVS

Re: Cameras on Tables
I put one camera on each table and only about 1/2 were completely used - since our wedding was at night, the photos really didn't come out too well but we got them on sale 2 for 1 at KMart so we saved some money there. We brought them to Price Club for processing so that cut the cost on the developing as well.

Re: Cameras on Tables
I just bought mine from target. Color 4Pak 17.99 and B&W 4Pak 19.99. and you can return them to target for developing and they take 3 bucks off every camera.

Re: Cameras on Tables
I am doing that as well. I was able to buy another bride's extra cameras off of her instead of getting them through a vendor. I love the idea!

Re: Cameras on Tables
I did that and got some really great pics. However, it is expensive to develop them but i would do it again if i had the choice.

Re: Cameras on Tables
We did and even though the pics are a little dark we got some great shots. We have pictures of people at their tables, dancing, etc that we wouldnt have had if we didn't use them. We developed them with shutterfly for 3.99 each and then you order the prints you want.

Re: Cameras on Tables
I think I'm going to do them. I'm sure you're guests will take pictures that the photographer will not even imagine taking.

Re: Cameras on Tables
We did and it was the best money we spent. There are pictures your photographer just isn't going to get, namely the hilarious ones of your drunk friends having a blast at your wedding. Get them!

Re: Cameras on Tables
I've thought about it, but I don't think I'm going to do it. Most of my friends will have their own cameras with them and I know they will make doubles.

Re: Cameras on Tables
We are putting Cameras on the tables also. I thhought it would be a nice touch to get pics that you wouldn't normally get.

Re: Cameras on Tables
We used them. We got Kodak 4-packs on sale at BJ's for like 19.99. I'm happy we did because we got some really cute shots that the photographer missed... I have to say that only 60% of the pics were good the rest were pretty dark or taken by very drunk people (waste)! All in all I was happy I had them there!
