Cameras on Tables

Original post by Tessie

What are your thoughts about putting disposable cameras on all the tables?

we got them. of the 12 we put on tables, we only got 9 back. of those, only 4 were completely used, the rest have 15-20 shots left in them. of the 4 i developed, there are maybe 4-5 good shots, total!! the best pics i got were from my parent's friends who were kind enough to give us their doubles.

Re: Cameras on Tables

I just bought 34 cameras for $99 on eBay. The vendors feedback did not have one negative comment about the photo quality.

I am going to add a sticker that requests that at least one shot be taken of each person at that table...

I don't think I will be doing that. I want my guest to have fun and enjoy the day. I don't want them worry about taking pictures.

We are doing them, and I think I am going to do the scavenger hunt. I also think I am going to make a note on the card about remembering to use the flash. Hopefully that will resolve some of the problems.

We did 2 on each table (one color & one B&W) and all of our pictures came out GREAT! Out of 21 rolls of film that we picked up after our Honeymoon there were only about 4-5 bad pics and about 3-4 stupid pics (thanks to my brother). I had my MOH & her daughter as well as my daughter be sure to go around & make sure they were all used up and collect them. We used all Kodak cameras.

One of the best things that we did!

I'm doing them. I got them for $2.99 at National Wholesale Liqiudators. If I get 6 good shots out of each, I'll be happy.

I did that!! I was going to dress them all up witht he extra Brian and Lauren Ribbon I got... That was on the bottom of my list of things to do... I AM SOOOOO Happy I didnt dress them up... I got AWESOME pictures, FUNNY pictures... a lot of them were either fuzzy or dark, but most were definately cropable! Definately shots that I would have never gotten... and different angles and perspectives of shots I got from my photograpers! I DO NOT recommend paying a lot for your cameras.. Since most come out too fuzzy anyway.. I aslo got B&W cameras and spent a fortune getting certain ones re-done, they all came out light or blueish. Shop around, look online or at National Wholesale liquidators! Best wishes!

We did them (got the cameras at target) and we got a bunch of great shots..lots of things that we did not see even in our 1500 proofs =)! My one advice would be to stick to the color film. I am a big black and white girl but the place was dark and the photos from the color cameras came out much better. You can also play around and make a color picture black and white if you want to later on!

I did this for my engagement party (I did a mix of color and B&W). They came out great, but if it weren't for my uncle and FFIL, they never would have been used. They ended up going around, taking the cameras from people's tables and taking pictures with them. I am leaning more towards no right now in terms of doing it for the wedding.
