I'm borrowing my sisters GORGEOUS cathedral veil and it is a tad wrinkled from being preserved.
I was told to get it steamed but would rather just do it myself and save a couple of bucks...(we are SO BROKE right now)
if i use low heat, can this be done or should I stop being so cheap and pay the extra 20 bucks or so to get it steamed..

Re: can a veil be ironed?
Hang it up in the bathroom and run a hot shower...the steam will do the work.

Just hang it and when the lady presses/steams your gown she can steam the veil...............I WOULD NOT IRON!!!!

Re: can a veil be ironed?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! DON'T DO IT!!!
My mom's mom ironed hers when she got married and it went right through! They had to add appliques to the veil the night before to cover up the huge a$$ hole. DO NOT touch that sucker with an iron! Steam it yourself in the bathroom or have it professionally steamed. Bridal shops will suusally do it for you if you had it altered there.
