on how much it costs to have your rings soddered (sp?) together? i'd like to get it done this weekend but dh refuses to do anything w/o knowing how much other people paid. he's paranoid about getting cheated. anyway thanks!

There was a recent post about whether or not to do this. The arguement was that some people decided to only wear one ring, or split the set, and wear one on each hand. I'd just make sure that's what you want to do before its too late. I don't know if it can be un-done.

i definitely want to do it b/c my two rings are rubbing together and the band on my e-ring is completely scratched and dull now, it looks awful. so i've got to stop that and i don't like the idea of having them on different hands. also i can't go back to my jeweler since they are in virginia and i'm in ny now.
anyway, if anyone has gotten it done and can remember approx how much it was i'd greatly appreciate if you could tell me. feel free to fm if you don't want to broadcast your finances!

I think I paid about 20 bucks for mine! I highly recommend it! My diamonds stay cleaner no more finger prints on them, and the rings never turn!
Here are my rings before and after. My wedding band used to spin all the time, which kinda defeated the point of having diamonds on it.
BTW, you can have them undone, but it is not recommended to redo it again after that!
