im trying to find afordable pashmina scarfs/shawls for my BM! i have a big bridal party, 11 girls to buy for so i dont want to get them expensive!
so now that i cant sleep cause i took a long nap during the day.. i am now on the web searching around for this! if anyone knows anywhere i can find them to order or a store or something let me know! :) thanks girls!

I just found some on ebay for my Bridal party. 7.95 a piece and the seller had free shipping. I havent revcieved them yet but they said is was cashmere and had a lot of colors!! I just typed in shawls.
I've seen a few street vendors in Manhattan that sell them 2 for $10. I guess if you buy alot maybe you can work with them.

They sell them on the street outside my office! If you want the nicer ones, try Blue Tulip in Atlas Park...but I kinda like having the cheap ones, so I don't feel bad when I wreck them!

Go to Manhattan and there are soooo many street vendors who sell them. I'm sure if you buy a lot of them you can get a major discount. I work in the Union Square area and they are all over here. I am assuming they would also be all over the place in the fashion district as well. HTH

i was actually thinking of going to the city and getting them there on the streets cause i know they would sell them for about 5 dollars each, but the problem is i heard they wouldnt have like 11 peices of the same color and i would need 11 of the same color! also i heard they arent very long where you can make them as shawls, their more like scarfs! but i guess i will give it a try and go check it out and see what i find and if they are long enough to be shawls and wrap around and if they would have 11 of the same color!!
by the way, is this place outside your job in the corner that sells them an actual store or its someone who is selling them on the streets??
They have a warehouse in Farmingdale. I set up an appointment and they had no problem letting me come in. They are inexpensive and you can get a large selection of any color you can imagine (plus they are nice and big). I was looking for a very specific color pink and wanted to definitely see it in person prior to purchasing. I also needed quite a few!
The pashminas i got were 100% polyester, and super soft. You can get them made from animal products from there too, but i just don't see the point.

Being that I see these on an almost daily basis.... I can assure you they are long.. and wide.. and can most definately be used as a shall! Just like the one in the pic.

They are all over the city, I got mine in Little Italy a place next to Il Mulino they were $5 each

Definitely the city. Walk canal street in chinatown and you're sure to find them for $5.

you got them off the streets in manhattan!? i think im gonna go take a look over there! the only problem is they wont have prolly 11 of the same color in one place! but i guess i just gotta take a look and really see for myself.. thanks so much for the help girls! :)
