We saw Mama Mia already. Is there anything anyone can recommend? Has anyone seen The Perfect Crime? It is a murder mystery and looks interesting.

Les Mis is great - but, is it still on B'way? Guys and Dolls was fun, but not a 'must see.' Rent is an amazing show - I've seen it twice already, and I'd even see it again! I don't think it's sad really...it just has more of a realistic social conscience than other musicals (that are pure entertainment value).
I am dying to see The Lion King, Movin' Out and The Producers! I have heard wonderful things about all three shows.

how about Chicago? i have seen it twice and loved it both times. the stage scenery is pretty non-existent, but if you're into the Fosse style of dancing, it's great!!

Rent and Phantom were great. I have tix for Producers in a couple months, but Ill recommend it ahead of time, since I've yet to hear a bad review..

I also did not see Avenue Q, but I heard it is hysterical - it's a politically incorrect musical comedy.

I am a huge Broadway Fan. My reccommendations are:
Phantom Rent Aida Wicked Movin Out (if you are a Billy Joel fan. I am a HUGE one, so I absolutely loved it)

I really wanted to see Rent, but the date I am looking to go, it is not playing, Easter. There are alot of other shows to choose from. I wanted to see The Producers too, but the original actors will be doing their last show on April 4th and I really wanted to see it with the originals.
