It really depends on the style you are looking for! I went to a shower at the Corner Galley Restaurant in Massapequa...it wasn't a fancy place, but a local restaurant that has a nautical theme, and it was really cute!

irish coffee house in islip/bayshore

i think captain bills has smaller rooms - just went to a communion party there and the food was great.

molly malones in bayshore/islip has an upstairs room too, i think.

I went to a bridal shower in smithtown - i forgot what it was called but it was really nice - it was D&D's shower so you can fm D&D and ask her, im sure she wont mind!

I just had mine at Piccolo Bussola... or something like that. They are located on Jericho tpke right across from dsw in Dix Hills/Elwood. The food was awesome, we had the whole restaurant and place was really nice and because it recently opened, they are very negotiable. Check it out. Everyone LOVED the food, most have gone back since.

I LOVE Over Pasta on North Country Road in Miller Place, it's soooo cool inside, and the food is great but it's not huge, you'd have to ask them the max you could invite - If I had to guess i'd say 40 people. I am hoping my shower will be there their number is 631-331-5554

I had my shower at Villa Sorrento's in St. James and it was great. You get the whole resturant for the shower. The food was really, really good!!! Everyone was so nice that worked their. We are having our rehersal dinner there as well.

IT totally depends on your budget. We're doing my friends at Capt Bill's and it's costing us a fortune ($430 each for each of the 5 bridesmaids...obviously I had no say in the planning) and they make you guarantee at least 60 people. But I've been to really nice showers at Gemelli's in Babylon, the watermill and the Irish Coffee Pub. there's also Garden Grille, Mazzei's in Bayport/Bluepoint, Riverview in Oakdale, Bulldog in Amityville, Bellisimo in Amityville, Carriage House in Babylon, Milk and Sugar Cafe in Bayshore (they only do Sunday showers). Oh also the Blue Honu in Huntington. HTH

Bliss in St James...DELICIOUS food. My fiancee and I fancy ourselves real foodies and we love this place. Also Bella Vita in Saint James is great. A few people have reccommended the Garden Grill...While the food is good, I had a few complaints about the place itself...First of all, there's only one small bathroom...We had my sister's shower there and they put us upstairs(by the bathroom) and for the entire shower people were interrupting us to get to the bathroom. I know it's a minor detail but it did pose a little bit of a problem. Also, it was scorchingly hot! It's an old victorian looking house so I don't think it's outfitted with a proper cooling/heating system...All of our guests complained about the heat. When we asked the staff to raise the AC we were told no, the other guests downstairs were complaining that it was too cold. So there we sat sweating to death for 4 hours. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant itself is so pretty but if we had to do it over again I would not have chosen this place...They do have good food though.

pomodorinos either in Huntington or Happauge... Gashos of Japan is so much fun... not sure about party packages... I have seen parties of up to 25...
Snapper Inn is nice (right on water), has great food, but is a little pricey.
