can anyone recommend a jewelry store NOT on etsy or online?
I want to get a pearl necklace with some bling and matching chandelier earrings I would like to see them in person rather then but online. If I don't like them I have a bad habit of saying ill ship it back but never do!!! I dint want to get stuck with experience jewelry! I didn't see anything at tri county yesterday really either! I think I have narrowed down my search to.something like these

Have you tried department stores like Macy's, bloomidales etc? Sometimes they have pretty decent sales running. Worth a shot to check them out.

I went to a Touchstone Jewerly party and got a really nice pearl necklace from them. Touchstone is made with Swarokswi (spelling?) crystals in there pieces. I was actually really impressed with the quality. You could also try Lia Sophia as well. Obviously you can't really see the items unless you go to (or host) a party but it might be something to look into! Especially if you host a party and get all the credit.. you can probably get it cheap!

My day of earrings are from Tejani. They have an extensive website and also a store on the Upper East Side. The store is great because the designer/owner is usually in and gives great styling advice!

Commack Jewelry Exchange has a bunch of different jewlery sellers in there, you may find something there, and Macy's is in the same shopping center. You might do better on price at a department store (especially Macy's) because of coupons.. if you wait until Friends & Family you can end up saving A LOT! Never buy anything at full price at Macy's lol
