we are starting to look for homes in the seaford/bellmore/wantagh/massapequa area. Can anyone recommend a good agent or agency that they used.

We used MLSLI to search for our houses and we used an agent from Prudential (who wasn't the agent for the house) he was recommended to us from my DH's cousin who also had just bought a house.

I used an awesome agent. He and his wife are a full time real estate team. Always calls back within 2 hours. When I first started looking I would call the realtor listed on MLS and wait days for them to call me back. Was referred to him from a friend and whenever I wanted to see a house I called him and he got the key. I wish I would have found him sooner. But everything happens for a reason. Pat Schreiber Lo'Re from Bastone Realty. We love her. She really only shows you houses that she thinks you will like (she doesn't waste your time dragging you around to houses that are not what you are looking for - which some agents do). Good luck!

no but I can tell you not to use the agent we used! They were the most coniving underhanded people I ever met.
Our agent was also representing the seller - I don't recommend getting into that type of situation!
