Davenport Press in Mineola - EXCELLENT food and they have great private rooms.
ETA: Casscarinos in College Point has great food and has a back room also. And I'm having my RD at Austin's Ale House in Kew Gardens. I have that price list at home if you want it.

New Hyde Park Inn. They have a bridal shower package that includes the wishing well, umbrella, cake, food, soda and a special punch. I think it was about $30 a head. I am not totally sure of the price, but that is where my shower was and I think my mom said it was about 30 a head and the room is nice and big. I had about 70 people at my shower.

WE did mine at HunanGourmet in Merrick. I know it was reasonably priced although I don't know how much. The food was great and all my guests had a great time.
Since it was at a Chinese restaurant my BM's made a giant fortune cookie out of cardboard and have everyone put a fortune in there for our future. It was a very cute idea!!!

I ate there once also for a cousin's graduation party & it wasnt bad at all. I usually go to the CB in Westchester, which is where I did my RD and my shower was there too. That one is pretty good.

My shower was also at Davenport Press in Mineola. It was great. The food was really good and the people there were so nice and accomodating. Its also right near the LIRR so it was convenient for people to get there from all over.

My daughter's was at the Milleridge Inn Carriage House. It was wonderful and under $35 a person. The menu and prices are on their website. I don't recommend the rooms in the Inn at all, so please se careful.

Mine was at the White house in Whitestone.. they have a really pretty room downstairs...
My 2 Fsil's showers were at: Bourbon St on Bell Blvd in Bayside and Pat's Restaurant on Grand Ave in Maspeth.. both were great as well... I do know Durow's in Glendale is good too.. I've been to a shower there as well.
