Can anyone suggest any kind of church that you don't have to be a member to get married at? (meaning neither the bride or groom or any family member)

We checked out the Unitarian Universalist Church in SHelter Rock.. they didn't have a problem with membership. FILs belongs to this sect (but in Maine) ...
We ended up using the Woodbury Historic Chapel on Jericho Turnpike. It's an ex-church that the guy who owns Coachman Limo restored. It's very pretty with stained glass and a detailed tin ceiling. You have to provide your own clergy (or they can reccomend)

There's a non-denominational chapel in Woodbury (or Westbury... I can never remember) called the Historical Chapel. It's not a 'parish' in the truest sense of the word so you don't have to be a member. Check out their website, it looks really pretty. I've never been there in person but FH and I were thinking about it before we decided to get married at the hall.
