Can anyone sugget a watch brand that is not crazy $$$?

My FI loves Movados and watches of that caliber, but my wallet can not afford to get him that as a gift.

We are paying for this wedding on our own and it would be way too much right now.


Can anyone suggest a nice watch brand that is not 1,000?

I was thinking of engraving it too.

i love my swiss army watch, it was around 400. check out the website, they have a ton that are more reasonale than movado. some of them are a little 'sport' but some of them are pretty dressy.

hey jen, we got our groomsmen fossil watches...they were $99....but just beautiful....look very movado-esque take a look at their selection....www.fossil.com i think is the website...and i know macys...and other dept stores carry them also

You can find very nice Movado watches for less than $1000. I think in the $500 range. If my memory serves me correctly, MJDOC bought one as a wedding gift for her hubby not too long ago. Try FM'ing her.

my FFIL got FH and I Invicta watches when we got engaged. I don' t think theyre that expensive and FH loves his.

Coach watches are made by Movado and they have some that look like Movados -- try a jewelry store that carries Coach. They have all the same workings and warranty of a Movado. I used to work for Coach. And they are a lot cheaper.

there is also a Movado store at the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead..you may be able to get a good deal there...
