Can anyone tell me about St. Martin/Anguilla or St. Lucia/Barbados?

FH and I are deciding on a honeymoon and thinking of going to either Costa Rica, if not, St. Martin/Anguilla or St. Lucia/Barbados. Has anyone been to any of those islands? Where did you stay and what did you do while you were there? We know quite a bit about Costa Rica but not much on the islands. Any info. you may have would be helpful. Thanks!!!

I actually went from Carnival cruise lines. I know that Sandals has I believe 2 hotels there, I have heard good things, sorry I couldn't be more helpful

We went to St. Lucia and stayed at the Sandals Golf Resort and Spa. Loved every minute of it... totally recommend for a honeymoon. Don't have to think about money or planning the entire week!

All I can tell you about St. Lucia is that we are going there in April. I can not wait!

Sasha what do you want to know??? We went to St Martin and it is great, we purchased our timeshare there, that is where we are considering spending our one year anniv. The jewelry there is wonderful and you can travel the entire island in 30 mins. Hubby and I rented a scooter and that is how we got around. We stayed on the Dutch side and we travelled to the French side, they are both beautiful but different.

We went to Barbados and St. Lucia for our HM. St Lucia was awesome, I want to go back, on our last day there I actually cried Myself and a couple of ladies are supposed to be going there on a girl's trip for relaxation at a wonderful spa where we stayed. It is called Le Sport the Body Holiday and that is what they do to you, they put your body on a holiday. Barbados was great, it is more industrialized, St. Lucia is more green. If there are any specific questions that you have please feel free to ask.

If you are interested in the St. Lucia Jalousie Hilton, let me know. I went there last year and LOVED it. It would be perfect for a honeymoon.

I went to Anguilla and St. Martin for our honeymoon. Stayed on the french side in St. Martin (we were there for only 2 nights). We went to Anguilla for the remainder of our honeymoon. We stayed at Cap Juluca -- was absolutely amazing! The island is very quiet -- not very lush...but gorgeous beaches, fantastic food - beautiful sunsets, great snorkeling..... really can't go wrong! We went to St. Lucia. We stayed at Sandals, Golf & Spa. It was AWESOME. I totally recommend whatever islad you chosse, do an all-inclusive.

Thanks for your replies ladies. We are hopeful to go to Costa Rica but are exploring other options as well. If we go we are looking to stay at hotels other than all-inclusives. We are vegetarian, don't drink, and it's not really our style. They are great for some people, no doubt, but I don't think they suit us best. I appreciate all of your input!!!!
