It's really up to you....DH didn't see my hair but I kind of wanted him to so I would know if he liked it....he didn't really want to though. He did see my make-up though, but it was just make-up. He liked it
ETA: Things I didn't want DH to see: Dress (obviously!) Veil Shoes Garter Underwear (special Mrs. L ones)

i was wondering the same exact thing. I really dont want him to see hair or makeup, but its so hard since we live together. what am i gonna do? take it down/rub it off before i get home?? seems silly, but i dont know what else to do....

its really up to you. DH saw me with hair and make up and in a rental wedding gown for our engagement pictures, and neither of us really cared.

I don't really care if he sees things in bits and pieces b/c he really won't get the effect until he sees me as a whole. I have described my dress to him and he has no clue what any of it means

FH picked me up after my hair & make up trial. My hair was down (he thinks that's the way I'm wearing it) . I'm wearing it up.

I don't care if FH sees me bc he wouldn't even realize that I have it the same way for the wedding, he doesnt pay attention to those things (or so he says he doesnt lol)

i want him to see my hair trial- i want him to love the way i look on our day, not 'what is up with the funky hair??' LOL
but the dress and veil i'm hiding. I don't really care if he sees the shoes or not but I probably won't show him anyway.

up to you. Mine saw everything but the dress. I came right home from my hair and m/u trials cause I wanted his opinion. I showed him my clip when I got it, my shoes, my earrings, all of it. I was dying to show him my dress but I figured i'd leave something for a surprise. I personally don't feel like anything else besides the dress is a big deal at all.

I always thought just the dress but its a good point....hmmm I guess its personal prefernce it might be nice to have him not see...but if you live together are you wash it off after you get it done??

IMO I think makeup is okay to see before but I'd like hair to be a surprise since FH is so used to it looking like a big ol' mess!

my FH gets to see all, esp since we are both hanging out during the pre-ceremony cocktail hour
My FH is almost blind without his glasses, I was joking that if he just keeps them off before the ceremony it would be enough to uphold tradition.

My FH will be with me for the trial, though he will likely leave and do his own thing while I'm being 'done up', he'll be driving me there and picking me up (we're coming from OOT for another event) but he'll have no clue what the full look will look like, and walking down the aisle will be a whole new experience, so I'm fine with him seeing it. I also do want his opinion, since he thinks he wants my hair down, but I'm thinking I want it up.

I showd FH pics of my hair and make-up trial. I wanted to get his feedback but he didn't see it in real life -- I pulled it all down before he got home. I didn't show him my shoes, dress, veil, or doj. I did show him my tiara which he said he really liked. He also knows what my bouquet will look like.

i think its totally OK for FH to see your makeup and hair trials, i will be asking my FH his opinion to see if he likes it or not. he might even get to see my shoes bc i want to make sure i wont be taller than him!
