Can I ask how much you are paying for..

Flowers ,invitations and favors? I am trying to estimate a wedding budget and I have absolutely NO CLUE as to a range of what I might expect to pay for these things. If I could know what some of you spent, it might give me an idea of what to expect - TIA

from the quotes I got I might pay 1500-2000 for flowers, but it also depends on what you are looking for

Invitations. I am going to spend 1k

So far I am paying $2200 for flowers. I hope to stay around $1000 for invites and favors.

invitations--just started pricing. hopefully less than $500
favors $0 i think favors are a waste so i'm not doing them!

Thanks so much for your input. I had no idea about how much these things might cost. I need 12 centerpieces so my flowers might be a little expensive but I can cut corners elsewhere. I got the DJ and photographer and video already so I had an idea of those prices.

we're not doing favors for the same reason. the only favors I have ever gotten use out of was chocolate truffles... and they're around $3-$4 a box. it's an unneeded expense. the last few weddings I attended did not give out favors and no one noticed.

ETA: the only thing we might do is the Jordan almonds in an organza bag. FH comes from an Italian family and it's tradition for them to put 5 or 7 almonds in a pouch. That cost will be minimal.

Invitations: $500

thanks! i don't understand why people do things 'just because' if they don't want to. i've thrown out almost every favor i've ever gotten. do what YOU want. that's how i look at things.

I did like 1500$ for flowers (12 tables)
300$ for invites
and about 3$ per favor.

Flowers and decorations- 1000- did my own centerpieces and only had one attendent

Invites- 217 total- from www.invitationsbydawn.com- great quality at a small price

favors- 25 for lavender sachets
$1000 for donation- our guests were generous so we paid it back to society

I think it's depend on how many centerpieces you have and what is included.

Mine is 1400 for 10 centerpieces, 1 bo-k, 3 bm, 1 moh, 1 bout for groom and 4 for grooms men, decorations for cake and some candle.

favor i got a good deal from ebay.
I believe I paid 170 for 100( bottle wine stopper)

and I haven't order my invitation yet.

then are you doing anything else in lieu of favors to thank your guest?? cause i do agree favors are a waste of money - but i don't know how else you 'thank' them.
