Original post by MikeandJess

Don't be scared! I'm taking a personality assessment class at John Jay and I need kids ages 7-16 to do an IQ assessment test on (WISC IV). I'll give you $3

haha yes - we dont fight we talk it out! hehe

the one thing that gets annoying sometimes is that he always LISTENS and doesnt always respond... it makes me want to choke him. Im like 'dont you have anything to say' and he tells me hes just listening

.. what school are you taking your classes at?

LOL I go 'freudian' on FH and tell him that his issues now are related to his childhood, he hates when I talk psychology to him because he doesn't know anything about it so he can't argue back

my masters, sometimes I consider going into teaching after this because I think a forensic psych background would help in some HS's

though i dont know much about forensic psych im sure it would be.

FH works in an elem school but plans on doing private practice. cant beat it summers off just like a teacher, but he does work his @ss off there. He goes out of his way TOO much and does TOO many things there. although its great for everyone there - he is so stressed out. but its his own fault, now they expect it.

I'll volunteer my 7 year old.

no need to pay money, I'd be glad to help. Just FM me what I have to do

thanks so much, but it's due like 10 days after your wedding!

I'm not that crazy now that everything is pretty much set for the wedding. How long does it take?

My SIL has her masters in Forensics and is now working with the FBI. My brother JUST got his PhD... (In IO though... boooooring....)

haha FH hates when I talk psychology to him...he says he doesnt care what these dead or nearly dead psychologists think or say

and he doesnt know anything really about psych so when i do talk to him about things i have learned he just says 'yup thats cool'

ahh I throw around the idea of working for the FBI, it sounds so cool. The WISC is a LONG test and I hear you have to bribe kids with candy and stuff, I'll FM you when it gets closer and you let me know the insanity level of the pre-wedding duties. Thanks for offering up your kid!

oh well he does think that...but i didnt write that i didnt know if i would offend anyone...but he tells me all the time

plus he had some guys from his unit when he was in San Diego get on the phone with me and talk to me about what i know about PTSD and other things...and htey didnt believe me haha

cause i tell FH all the time i think anyone who goes to Iraq needs to come home and get evaluated to see if they have symptoms of PTSD
