Can I buy plane tickets for someone other than myself?
JT and I would like to send my parents to Italy as their gift for our wedding. But I'm not sure if I'm able to do this. Does anyone know if I am even able to purchase tickets for someone else?

yes you are. I was sending my parents to Puerto Rico a few months ago and it was fine.

I did- bought a ticket to Arizona for my brother. I am sure you can do it with international flights too.

I have bought tickets for others using online! I am sure you can do it, just make sure htat the name on the ticket matches their license!

If you do it online you can put anyone's name in the slot where it says 'Passenger.' If you do it in person I don't believe you can do so.

Ok, awesome. It's been their dream to go to Italy forever, and I REALLY REALLY want to do this for them since they are doing and have done so much for me! And they can go anytime in the summer, which makes it so easy to plan. I figure, what the hell else will they have to do after I get married next summer? They can travel

We're doing the same thing for our parents (but the Carribean or Mexico) and the travel agent I spoke with said it's no problem. They did suggest that we pay the few $ extra for the paper tickets to make things easier at check in.

Yes you can...we bought the plane tickets for our PAstor and his wife from Cali and put them in their names but paid with our CC.

yes you can do it, just make sure that you know their names exactly how they appear on their passports, sometimes people have different names than they are using

Yes you can, You might want to go to a Travel agent ( a good one) and they can find you the best fare. Also if you need a hotel, they do all the work for you....
